“John Newton of Cornerstone Builders recently built us a home in Weatherford, TX. We could not be more pleased!! John is a man of high integrity. He is a family man, trustworthy, and very intent on making everything right! John is extremely reliable, which is important in the building process. He answers emails, texts and is regularly on site. Having a talented builder is a real plus. He leveled dirt on a tractor, dabbled in a couple plumbing projects, installed appliances and much more. He even cut a metal hanging candle holder that I wanted to hang in a niche; it was just a tad bit too large. He has been in the profession long enough to have selected some outstanding contractors. We feel that we had the "best of the best" plumbers, electricians, tile layers, carpenters, etc. I don't think we will be moving from this gorgeous home, but If we did need to downsize or move for any reason, John would be building us another home! Ken and Cindy”

“Fred Parker and his son Ron Parker are currently building my new home, and the quality and professionalism is outstanding. They are extremely thorough in planning and anticipating situations and formulating solutions to prevent unexpected problems. They use only high quality and reputable subcontractors. Their goal is to build a home that will stand the test of time. Fred Parker has been building homes for 50 + years, and recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association for his contribution to building issues in Fort Worth. Update Dec 2015: I have been living in my beautiful home now for a year, and the follow up service by Fred Parker has been outstanding. Fred and his son Ron treat my home like it their prized possession. They take so much pride in the quality of the work, their service, and their client relationships. I highly recommend them to anyone considering building or remodeling .”

“Rick and company did a complete redo of our kitchen-down to the studs in 2015. Opened up a wall between our eating area and our den and changed the location of 2 doorways to give us more cabinet space and a better 'flow' for entertaining. His subs were top notch and cleaned up well at the end of each day. We only had a couple of things that had to be corrected and this was done in a timely fashion. Our home is 80 years old and the necessary care was take when needed. Rick listens and makes good suggestions to improve your ideas. Budget was respected and met. In 2017 he added a large pergola over our patio that extends to our pool area .This is attached to out house so we didn't want just anyone drilling into our home. It is exactly what we wanted. He came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Would recommend him 100%. Can't say enough good things about Rick and his staff!! The Wheelers”

“We worked with Matt to design and build a 3500 sq. ft. house. Matt was very creative with the design which resulted an elegant and beautiful home. When we chose to make changes to the design during construction Matt accommodated our needs very effectively. We were very pleased with the quality of the house. Matt completed our house within the agreed timelines and was very responsive when addressing the few minor new house issues that arose. We would definitely use Matt as our builder for our next house.”

“Bannister Custom Homes did a fantastic job on our custom home in Westview at Parks of Aledo. We worked with a great architect, Ron Berg, and came up with a design that matched our vision. We wanted a classic French design with high-end finish on both the inside and outside that replicates what is expected for a true custom home. Bannister Custom Homes continually demonstrated quality “Customer Service” throughout the building process. Danielle Capper, the Sales Associate, worked countless hours to ensure that everything went as smooth and was as painless as possible. She and the Interior Designer, Samantha Welsh, made certain that our design selections were clearly communicated and that we would visually achieve a high level of satisfaction that met our taste and gave it more of our personal touch. They were both receptive and sought out ways to meet our specific requests regarding Shaker cabinets, true real wood beams, hardware, chimney shrouds, rooftop finials, lighting, flooring, etc. Randy McGuffey, the Bldg. Superintendent and Marshall MacKay, the Builder, were instrumental in handling the entire build process. Both were understanding and supportive to answer any questions we may have had. Marshall followed up with us and the various workers to make certain things were being done in a timely manner and to our specifications. Marshall was also easily accessible after the build process was completed to follow-up with any questions we needed addressed. Throughout the entire building process everyone with Bannister Custom Homes was professional, courteous, and accommodating. We just want to thank you and your fabulous team for such careful attention and would recommend anyone should choose Bannister if they are interested in a true custom home.
