We had gutted and renovated a few older homes over the past 10 years. We learned a lot and knew that when we designed and built our new home from the dirt up that we would interview builders until we found the right fit. We wanted to find the right group of people that we could be happily “married” to for 9 to 12 months. We had design ideas, but no architectural plans. We had a concept, a vision and a dream. We met with all the “hot” and busy folks that were re storing and rebuilding our village by the sea. We went to open houses and spoke to new home owners about their building experiences.
