“We hired OC Builders for a full Kitchen remodel and an installation of a 20’ sliding door. When we met our contractor, Moe, he went over everything in detail and answered all of our questions. Moe was happy to give advice on materials and design but was also fine working with our design. It was a nice balance. We’ve had mixed experiences with contractors on smaller projects in the past but we’re so glad we hired OC for this project. Everything went as expected and there were no surprises. “After purchasing our new home we wanted to modernize the house since it was still stuck in the in the 50's. We did not know where to start and after a lot of research we were referred to Spazio La by a friend that did their entire house with them. We didn't know what to expect, after 10 minutes of our first meeting I was in love with their ideas and suggestions to improve the layout and finishes of our new kitchen, master bathroom and guest bathroom. They were very professional and spent almost 4 hours with us showing us their beautiful designs and projects from previous clients. We decided to hire them and we are so happy that we did. “I moved into a Hollywood Hills home after being stuck in the Valley since 1989. My house was built in the 1930’is and not much on the house was very practical and usable. Bathrooms to small. Kitchen in an odd shape. No central AC. Walls, ceiling windows and doors not insulated. So i decided to completely remodel and add an addition to my house. Before calling Josef, I tried a calling a couple other companies first, but they were non-responsive. So I called Josef Veis with Focus Craft. The first time I called him he picked up the phone and scheduled a meeting right away. When he came to my house he recommended that we get his Surveyor involved cause to determine the property line. Right after that his Architect was brought on board permits were filed and shortly after the project begun. I had to move out from my house for six months. Everything was removed to the studs except some original details that were here since the 30’is and gave the house a unique old Hollywood feel. We opened up walls moved the kitchen to merge it with the Living room area. The kitchen made my place the perfect place to entertain and cook for my friends and Family. We put the addition on the back of the house to make my Master Bathroom and Bedroom bigger and in the more quite section of the house. All I can say that I am living in my dream home and I am very thankful to Josef and his team for making it possible. I can recommend him to anybody that wants to build their dream home.”

“We interviewed 13 different contractors before hiring Eileen to remodel our house. She was initially working with an "interior designer" that we had previously retained, but it turned out that at best, she was an interior decorator. We were really trying to give the "designer" the benefit of the doubt because I had a prior relationship with her through my alumni association and we had become friends, but Eileen became concerned because her "design" ideas weren't going to work well for functional and aesthetic reasons. Eileen finally scheduled a meeting for all of us to attend, but the "designer" failed to show up. In any event, when we learned about the extent of the problems, we immediately terminated the "designer." It later came to light that the "designer" had also charged us inappropriately and had us purchase materials at the highest priced stores in order to increase the size of her fees. In any event, Eileen felt so sorry for us and she had been an interior designer before she became a licensed contractor. Eileen took over the role of designer and did not charge us for that additional role because she couldn't believe what we had paid already in that regard. In any event, Eileen and her crew were very diligent and met their time deadlines. With such a large job, it is not unusual for some problems to arise. To her credit, Eileen always took responsibility for any such issues. In fact, the roof leaked over a year after her roofer had done repairs in that area and Eileen made sure that the roof was fixed properly and that the damage caused by the leak was corrected to our satisfaction. We were so impressed with Eileen and liked working with her so much, that she became a close personal friend. We most recently saw her at our wedding on May 3rd, over three years after she remodeled our house.”

“I hired Tamir when I bought my first house. I'd seen the work he'd done for a few friends who recommended him highly. Tamir came for my home inspection (which was incredbily helpful to me as a first time buyer) and helped me plan out the changes. For my first project with him we completely remodeled my kitchen and bathroom (including moving/removing walls) along with painting and other smaller projects throughout the interior of the house. The kitchen and bathroom are beautiful. His crew did a great job. Tamir truly wants his client to be happy. If I'm not happy with how something turns out he will do whatever needs to be done to make me happy - whether it's coming back for touch ups, to replace some tile, or whatever I need. I have friends who've used other contractors and many say they just ask for money and don't care about making the client happy. Tamir was also great about sticking to my budget. Shortly after I moved in to my house a pipe burst in my front yard. I called Tamir at 5:30am on a Sunday with no idea what to do. He had someone at my house in 30 minutes. His response was amazing and is indicative of how he will always go above and beyond for his clients. My second major project with Tamir was redoing the front yard and exterior of my house and fixing a drainage issue under my back patio. We painted the exterior of the house, added a series of retaining walls to my hillside yard, replaced the front stone steps and landing. In the backyard we demoed out a large concrete patio to add drainage around my house so water stopped running under my house and eroding soil around the pylons. We also stuccoed the front and backyard retaining walls. His team regraded my hillside yard and worked with my landscape designer to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it. They hung window boxes and wired my drip irrigation. His crew was available for what I needed. They worked hard and efficiently. Tamir has handled other projects for me as well. He replaced the roof on my house and added insulation. I'm about to start my next project with Tamir -the completion of my backyard. I'm looking forward to getting started. I recommend Tamir to friends and wouldn't hesitate to use him in the future.”
