“I first worked with Matthew Stroud Associates on a detached double fronted Victorian villa in a Wandsworth conservation area. He was definitely the best choice of contractor. Matt Stroud and his team are very capable and gifted. Their care and attention to detail can not be faulted. He is also very resourceful, with close connections to a wide range of specialist trades to meet every requirement. Matt understood the requirements of working on a period property and how the refurbishment should be managed to enhance the character, aesthetics and performance of the building. The project was for a complete refurbishment both outside and in, including a new slate roof, repointed brickwork and new heritage timber sash windows externally and a full refurbishment of all rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, sauna and steam room internally. Matt worked accurately to architect and interior designer's drawings and specifications. The finished works are stunning! I can't rate him highly enough. He's my 'go-to' for any future projects.”

“Chris undertook a side and rear extension on our ground floor and reconfigured a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. He is very easy to get on with, and very obviously knows what he is doing. We found Chris very solutions focussed, with no problem that he couldn’t resolve to. We had issues with our glass, and the extractor fan due to other contractors and Chris was great at working through the issues with suppliers and coming up with a final, workable solution to a consistently high standard. Due to issues with with glass, our project overran, and the final few small jobs took longer to resolve than we would have hoped but due to over-running his team were working around other jobs and everything was ultimately addressed, and he honoured the 12 month snag period we had put in place at the outset. We also benefitted throughout the project from Chris’ knowledge of products and good links with suppliers. The overall finish of the job was excellent. We had a very positive experience of Vero Construction, and would use Chris again and recommend him to others.”

“We have used Glenward twice now. Firstly for a side and rear extension, then again for a loft conversion. Our Edwardian house had some complexities to overcome; every hurdle was discussed and the outcome favourable. They are a multi-trades company who has a great work ethic, doesn’t cut corners and produces excellent results. Graham and his team have worked with him for years and are a friendly close knit team. No doubt when we move again, they would be our go-to builder for any renovation or building works.”

“We appointed BCL to undertake the full refurbishment of our house in Battersea after talking to lots of different contractors and the usual suspects for loft conversions in South West London. What we liked about BCL was their attention to detail, and also nothing was ever a problem - no matter how much we changed our mind throughout the project. They went the extra mile to please, and were always on call to answer any questions, weekends and evenings! Will and Mark and young and ambitious and they will go on the journey with you, and have a genuine care for the projects and clients they work with. We would have no reservations in recommending them as your contractor and project manager.”
