“Jamaica Cottage Shop is awesome. We had a playhouse (Writers Haven) and a shed (Potting Shed), and both are extremely well built. They're very sturdy, and they delivered it to the exact spot we wanted. Our customer representative, Mindy, made sure we got everything we wanted for specifications. She let us customize the buildings so that they were exactly what we wanted! You can always check out pictures on their website.”

“My husband and I worked on plans to build our dream home. Presented our plans to belmonte who assisted us in creating these plans to fit our price range, yet not taking away what we felt were the most important pieces. Extremely flexible with meetings, and helped us understand the process step by step. Pete was great at recomendations witthin the space so that every square foot would be utalized vs wasted. We originally had our master suite off the garage and boys off the living room. Pete had great examples as to why we should have this flip flopped. I will never forget his quote in regards to our suite.. we have a hallway to our own suite that brings "a sexy" feel leading into the master suite. He was truly right!! Lindsey was dead on with assiting us with our kitchen design and details. She got a feel for how much we entertain etc and made a perfect kitchen to match our lifestyle.. We will and have already made many recommendations to our friends and loved ones interested in building our home”

“Jock and his team have now done two big renovation jobs at our house outside Chatham and we are already talking about a third. I wouldn't think of hiring a different builder. The budgeting and billing process is fair and transparent with no rude surprises, the workmanship is flawless, the workmen are great to have around and both jobs have gotten done in exactly the time frame promised. (Having done other jobs with other contractors in other places, believe me, these are words I never thought I would say about any contractor!) When unexpected conditions come up as they always do in renovations of old houses Jock is instantly on the spot to address them. Andrew, Jock's design partner, is gifted and tireless. Though I am now a screenwriter and director I was previously an architect, which makes me not the easiest design client, and both Andrew and Jock have handled my hyper-involved madness with grace and calm. The finished product on both jobs has the glow of work done meticulously and with a deep commitment to getting it exactly right. I give Claverack Builders my highest recommendation.”

“Teakwood Builder remodeled my 140 year old house, and has since done several other projects, including exterior renovation and a new front porch. Their workmanship is very high and they come in on budget. (Sometimes not exactly on time...) They know a lot about old houses and they respect and love them. In other words, their solution isn't just to gut an old house and start from scratch. They work with the architectural details that are in your house and make it even more beautiful. Finally, if there are any problems or issues, they deal with them promptly. Really. I have bid other companies for projects, and they consistently are competitive. Given the quality of their workmanship and service, they are a very good value.”

“Having been in the real estate business for a lot of years I could not have been happier with my building experience with Bonacio Construction. This is the fourth house I have built and this is by far the smoothest and most enjoyable building experience I have had. The process starts with the estimate (they were the lowest of five local builders) which is gone over from start to finish with everything explained and itemized. Constant updates from the office and a schedule for the anticipated completion, which they hit on the day. A few minor glitches (totally normal with new construction) after we moved in and someone was here within 24 hours to fix it. “I have had 3 different jobs done at my house by this contractor. The first job they performed at my house was a deck rebuild. I loved the job they did so much that i hired them to refinish my son's bedroom and a stair way. The latest job they performed for me was siding my garage and adding a window and side door to the garage. The quality of work performed by these guys is so great that i will never use another contractor. My next job is having them replace my basement windows.”
