“They were very professional when I asked them to give me a generalized bid (dollar per square foot) on a custom home, and I was up front that I had a builder already in mine but wanted to make sure I was in the ballpark for custom home pricing. They had built a home for my neighbors and had done a great job. Ultimately I went with the builder I had already begun the process with, and this particular builder is very closely tied to my family. Had this not been the case, I'm confident Amber DiLane would have been my top 1 or 2 choice based on the work I've seen, recommendations from others who've used them, and overall reputation.”

“Nickerson Design and Construction Inc. is the best. I love everything this company did to my house. From the ceiling to the floors and everything in between were exquisite. This company used quality top of line products throughout the house. The workers were very professional, efficient, neat and clean. My whole house was completed in four weeks. These guys worked some nights until 10pm. This company is true to their motto, "We Build Your Dreams on Your Budget" . I recommend this company for whatever your needs are. He works closely with the client to maintain budget and has always kept the job within the time frame promised. We wanted a screened in patio attached to our home and had worked with a space planner to develop an idea for that. “We hired Doug to reconstruct the front of our house using pencil drawings of our own design. He assisted us with small changes to the design to accommodate construction, and he managed the construction and remodel. Doug's training as an architect was essential to be sure the design was achievable and would not harm the structural integrity of the house. All of Doug's subcontractors were highly skilled and kept a clean project. Doug managed the timing of the subcontractors to minimize downtime. We had one unforeseen problem and Doug presented us with solutions and costs in a diplomatic and thoughtful manner. The project came in on budget and on time, and we think it gave us a beautiful result.”

The Burke company not only accepted my job, they did such professional, high quality work most people who have seen it think that it cost twice that. I did not experience the delays or cost overruns that I'd been told usually occur in remodels. They were very willing to work make the changes I requested and were always reachable when I had a question. They were mindful of my budget and worked with me to help keep it in check. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any type of remodeling project.”

Chad and I worked very closely over the next several months and in October of 2017 the Bartels custom doors, manufactured in Germany, were delivered and installed by Chad and his team. Chad is a professional on every level. His attention to detail is unwavering and the results can be seen in the quality of his work. I look forward to working with Chad and his team at Hudson Properties in the very near future.”

“Renovations Redefined remodeled three bathrooms on the east side of the house in the first phase and the kitchen and an additional bath on the west side of the house in the second phase. We lived there the entire time. Jesse Johns was great to work with. In the planning phases, he listened to our needs and aesthetic desires and came up with creative, high quality plans for achieving them. We planned everything and then spent time acquiring all materials before the actual work started on each phase. The construction moved smoothly with no wait for orders that had not arrived. The master bath has a large window in the space where we wanted to create a shower. Jesse had it built out of Corian and designed it to hold a stained glass window between frosted and clear glass. He modified the design of the cabinets to give me a truly custom look. He put blocking in the walls around tubs, toilets, and shower in case we install grab bars in the future. We have pictures and measurements for locating these. The design of the kitchen was especially nicely done. The placement of appliances make it very efficient to work in. Some features I especially like are: the slotted areas for platters, baking trays and cutting boards; the spice cabinet that utilizes doors as well as shelves to make everything easy to see; the inexpensive in-cabinet compost container; and the lower corner cabinet with its shelves that cantilever out all the way. The shelves of the corner cabinet move so smoothly that I can stand bottles of olive oils and vinegars on them without fear of toppling. All cabinet doors and drawers are self closing and quiet. The subs that worked on my home were without exception professional and competent. We came in under budget on the first phase and slightly over on the second phase. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others.”
