“We have been very pleased with the addition/ kitchen remodel Distinctive Design/Build/Remodel completed for us. We outgrew our previous kitchen space and I had been frustrated with many aspects of the kitchen design. Vince and Erin listened to the challenges we had in our old space and came up with a design that has worked out as we had hoped for our new space. I love my kitchen again and we really enjoy our additional sunroom and mudroom space. The flow and ample storage areas work out well for our large family. All of the team, including subcontractors, were polite and safety conscious which was important with 4 children from 4 to 12 around the home. We were kept up to date regarding progress and all concerns were addressed in a timely manner. The remodel took a little bit longer than expected, and we were a little naive about the energy it took to move items within our house and live with upheaval for a time, however the results were well worth it!!!”

“Rob and his crew are not only terrific craftsmen but problem solvers. We bought a foreclosure in a great neighborhood and while it needed light work i.e. the replacement of a broken deck, we wanted to enlarge it and add a covered room. We also "blew out" the ceiling on a second floor "bedroom" with no windows (ugh) and Rob incorporated an attic window into the room, put in a fan, lights, and created a gorgeous landing by the window which is now accessed via a "spiral" staircase that Rob ran straight against the wall to the landing. Extraordinary! We also replaced some crappy windows and added sliders to the deck. From help with picking out the stone to the floor tile, new carpet, paint colors and windows, replacing cracked granite counters, and finding cedar boards for the interior of the room, Rob and his wife Deb, an interior decorator, were there for us every step of the way. Rob also sourced amazingly gorgeous thin wire and sleek steel curved stanchions for the new deck. Any problem was resolved without issue. His crew is also terrific and completely trustworthy, holding my keys for several months. One also did some other odd jobs during his time off with Rob's permission. And Rob even came by on Christmas Day, no less, when we were desperate and discovered a different garden contractor had installed an outdoor faucet that had frozen and broken, and water that we pay for was pouring out with no way to shut it off while we had no water pressure in the rest of the house! (That guy didn't even call back until almost noon the following day!) So above and beyond.”

“Good customer service and quality products are hard to come by thesedays, but the folks at DiFabion Remodeling deliver on both counts and more. We first hired this group to convert our sun beaten deck into a porch 2 years ago and we are still thrilled with what we got. The process was painless since the project was methodically scheduled and kept. The cost was clearly conveyed up front and that's what we paid in the end. Our new porch is now our favorite room of the house and we continue to get compliments and requests to spend time in this space that looks like it was an original part of the house. Communication is prompt and honest with this company and the workers are polite and trustworthy and talented at what they do. We have recently invited this crew back into our house for the more extensive remodeling of all our bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen.
