“II had Mansouri Design LLC completely gut and remodel a home I bought in December 2020. This was right during the pandemic and when quality contractors were slim and few. Because of this, some things initially did not go well, Selim is a very solid individual. He was unwilling to accept poor performance from the contractors, and he had them redo anything that we did not deem as acceptable. We did not pay for any rework either. His staff has always been very friendly and quick to address any issues. Although our work together has been completed, for months, some of my appliances and a chandelier are not delivered. When I called Famous Tate's, they said not to worry because they still get a weekly call from Mansouri checking on my appliances. This is a quality company with a very skilled staff. I would recommend them highly to perform professional work at a reasonable price.”

“We could not have been more delighted with the renovation done in our home by Jacobsen Custom Builders. Their attention to detail at every stage of the job was matched by their ability to see how each detail fit into the project as a whole. JCB was offered a complex project of incorporating an additional ½ bath as well as reconfiguring entry and exits to a master suite and building a master closet within the perimeters of a historical home. They offered excellent suggestions and ideas that we had not considered. Brett was a warm and welcome fixture on site and treated every step of the work on our house as if it were his own. The trades people were outstanding and Brett coordinated their work beautifully. We are grateful for their expertise as well as their good will. “In June of 2011, our 86 year old home was flooded from the top down in a surprise storm. We chose the wrong day to get a new roof! For four hours the sky dumped water into our house. The plaster ceilings were falling before the rain even stopped. Jay Fechtel and his amazing team were hired to put our house back together. It is far better than it ever was before. Their wise counsel provided guidance to renovate and improve the house. It looks amazing inside and out and is so much more functional and efficient. We are very thankful for their expertise and comforted, despite the loss of many of our personal belongings in the flood, that our house was preserved as a home and investment with great returns. We have a great many pictures of the flood and building/addition process but the project will not be complete till the end of July. Will happily provide pictures upon completion.”

Voss Builders was one of three companies I interviewed and I hired them based on my interview with Pete Voss. Pete put together an excellent crew, worked with my wishes for a new deck area with a roof over it, and was totally considerate of my inputs. Pete was hands-on throughout the process and put together an excellent design. He and his crew were on time on a daily basis and on time with the project. I liked what he was doing so much that I added a re-do of my front porch deck and railings. I now have a beautiful covered deck in the back that we use every single day. It blends in with the house perfectly and in fact looks like it always belonged there. I really appreciated the attention to detail and professionalism of Voss Builders. “We recently got a home at a very good price. But the downside was that the inside of the house was a real mess and needed a lot of repair and remodeling. We were lucky to have Raleigh for a contractor. He did a great job and stayed in good communication throughout the project. He wasn’t one of those contractors you hear about who doesn’t answer calls or stops showing up. Also, we had a specific look we wanted for the house. He helped us work out a design that was elegant but still within our budget. He and his workers wasted no time and got things done quickly.
