“Leff Construction renovated our house, added on a sun room, built decks surrounding our house, changed the roofline because of the add on, and installed landscaping. They worked on our home, improving it from one end to the other, for over a year. During that time they showed up every day, provided top rate work, both from their construction crew and their sub contractors, and remained respectful and helpful throughout. The billing was clear and honest. Whenever something needed correcting (which was seldom), it was accomplished quickly and thoroughly. To attest to how much I respect Leff Construction, we have become good friends with Dave Leff, and I have served on a nonprofit board with him for several years. I know that's a rare and precious outcome from a house remodel. “Wonderful experience! I had ordered a pre-made kitchen island I felt would be too large. I went to Heritage Salvage not knowing what to expect, but sure a custom island would be out of my budget. They said they could make me something for the same price I was going to pay for the other...and then worked with me to design something exactly to my needs and specifications. It was a very fun experience. The best part is the wood is from a pre 1906 earthquake building in San Francisco, where I grew up. I love that the heart of my kitchen has a story!”

“My wife and i hired Kraftwerk to provide both interior and exterior finishes to our home in the Howell Mountains of Northern California in 2004. The work was, and is, superb. Think of Christian as an artist who uses plaster, stucco and fresco as a means to express himself. We plan to move to a retirement community in a few years. And we plan to have Christian do his magic before we move in to help us feel more at home. May we never have a wall without two color plaster!”

“We have partnered with Jeff Kraft to remodel two houses (one was modern and the other a historic home; both were amazingly transformed), and strongly recommend him. He is a design/build expert, and highly knowledgeable about the building permit process so that it moves very quickly, something that we strongly appreciate after past projects with other builders became mired in the permit process. He is able to envision the end result/future state, and yet knows exactly what has to happen to achieve it. He is a talented builder and you feel a very strong sense of partnership in working with him. And possibly most importantly, his guidance saves you money; we were ready to purchase a set of glass shower doors for our newly remodeled bathroom, and he said wait, here's the place you order them from, and it saved us $4K just on that one purchase!”

“We live in the Meadowridge house which we bought from Gary in 2000. He had designed and built the house in 1994. We had him add on to the house, converting the garage to another room and building a new garage. My wife and I love the house. In fact we are expanding again adding space to the garage and putting two bedrooms above the garage along with other changes. Gary had left the area so we are using another architect/builder. But we have continued his designs in the new addition. My comments refer to The original house and addition. The design is fantastic. The best attribute is the sky lights that run run the length of the house in both directions. These make the house what it is! The use of wood (aspen ceilings, vertical pine logs, sand blasted wood trim around the doors, etc.) and stone (entry way and some outside walls) give the house an outdoors feel inside. Several rooms/closets do not have doors giving an openness to the house. We love the vaulted ceilings leading up to the sky lights that emphasizes this openness. He also used interior windows to light up areas that would not receive sunlight. In short we love his architectural ideas as expressed in our house. We have lived in the house for 12 years and have had no structural issues in spite of heavy winter snows. -Cres Fleming”
