“We hired LZL for two huge projects to improve our four-story, 1905 Craftsman home in Seattle, and each time we felt mildly bereft when their crew left, because they'd come to feel like family. First they gutted and remodeled our enormous kitchen, turning it into the most beautiful and functional kitchen I've ever seen. (This is not an exaggeration.) The next year they restored the living room, an adjoining office, and transformed a rickety, add-on greenhouse structure into a second office and reading space. Both times, LZL began work on the day they promised and finished exactly on the day they promised. When we had to sell our beloved house for health reasons, several repairs had to be done to meet the buyer's contingencies in parts of the house LZL had not worked on. Even though they had a full load of other jobs, LZL employees we knew rushed to the rescue and worked overtime to meet every contingency - simply because they cared about us and about our beautiful old house.
