“This is the second job that Rich Allen with Farrell Home Services has managed for us. Our kitchen, hopelessly out of date, inefficient and claustrophobic was in dire need of a remodel. Two walls were demolished, and a lowered ceiling with flourscent lighting with a fan in the center was removed and raised. The kitchen was extended approximately 5 feet, and opened to our great room. Old Jalousie windows were replaced as well. Design of the kitchen took a while, but Rich and his crew were patient as we made changes as the design took place. We wanted to be sure that it was the right design for the space and our needs. We were always given choices and issues with each were explained to us. The allowances we were given were always ample for the choices we had made as to material. The kitchen was ready to use in approximately 5 weeks. Rich's scheduling of subcontractors was excellent. We always knew who was coming and when, and in the correct order so when a job was sheduled it could be completed. He was always aware how difficult it is to live without a kitchen. The punch list was completed timely and to our satisfaction. The project was completed on time, and on budget. We have one other project that needs doing, and when we are ready, we will not hesitate to use Rich and Farrell Home services again.”

“They renovated our kitchen, and transformed it from tremendously outdated into a beautiful Midcentury Modern galley kitchen. We used white shaker upper cabinets and really dark base cabinets with a classic white quartz counter top. Its very simple and beautiful. The project was well within budget and the delivery was on time, despite the several changes WE introduced! I absolutely recommend them!”

“We hired Strobel Design Build for two projects: 1. rebuild an enclosed sunroom into an open front porch (Fall of 2012); 2. rebuild/remodel kitchen (currently in progress). In both cases, Don Strobel sat down with us to discuss the design of both projects, took time to discuss material options, and gave us a schedule regarding each step of the process. Due to the fact that our house was built in the 1930's, adjustments were made as needed when structural issues arose. In addition, the area is cleaned after each day of construction. The front porch is beautiful and we have received many compliments by the neighbors.
