“'We engaged Compass Design and Build to carry out a double-storey side extension and full refurbishment of our house. From as early as the initial quote, they produced detailed plans, costs and timings with clear thought about the whole process. The work involved liaising with many different third parties - security companies, bi-fold door companies, landscapers, interior designers etc and these relationships were managed very efficiently; with timings constantly adhered to. “Can’t rate Harry & James highly enough- they fitted a new kitchen & utility for us and completed several large tiling projects, including an ensuite bathroom. They also fitted solid surface worksurfaces to the kitchen, utility and bathroom. They are always professional, punctual & polite. They communicate really well before, during and after any job. Their attention to detail is excellent and they ensure a perfect finish to any job. They come up with creative solutions and ideas.”

“James did a great job for us in our flat, replacing all the internal doors and installing associated door furniture etc - laying a v. complex parquet floor amazingly well and also levelling the joists underneath as well as installing extra insulation beneath the floor. He also built us two sets of floor to ceiling wardrobes which turned out brilliantly and he also built us alcove units and cupboards in our sitting room. James is great to deal with and his workmanship is top quality. We can't recommend him highly enough and will definitely use him again in the future.”
