“I can't say many wonderful things about Green California Builders. I wanted to built a new home and had no idea where to start in regards to design and construction permits. I heard about these guys because of my friend. I met EZ (the main project manager) after scheduling the appointment. He guided us through the entire process with ideas, advises and material selection. I liked his vision and we agree on the budget. Few days later the project started. After few months, we now have a wonderful new house. I'm so grateful to choose these guys and I recommended them 100%!!!”

“We recently completed our 3rd large scale project with SF Design Build .... first a major remodel of our condo in 2008.... then a major seismic upgrade for our entire building in 2010...and now a complete exterior painting and new deck construction and maintenance completions for the entire building (a three story structure in NOPA). Basically they went over this entire huge building tooth and nail fixing and updating every inch. Our 87 year old wood construction building is now in near perfect condition. We keep returning to Rudy, Jessica and the SFDB team for the simple reason that they are honest, professional, thorough, budget-wise and conscious and have excellent follow up. The quality of the work by Samuel, Hugo, Ceasar, Eric and the others is excellent. These guys are real craftsmen and it shows. What a pleasure to see their finished work! All of the workers are company employees and have been with SFDB for all the years we have used the company. No day hires! We bid this work, as we did our other projects, and SFDB once again came in competitive. (they were not the cheapest but also held an advantage over "just" painting contractors because as a general contractor they have their own scaffolding. the other painters bid the work then had an "add on" for scaffolding that in some cases could add $5k to the cost.) they completed the work on budget. No gimmicks, add ons etc. during the work they found that some planking on one side of the building had been repaired poorly many years ago and had to be replaced. this added about 3 days to the job with some cost increase but they showed how it was necesary. One of the best things about SFDB is that there are no surprises. They work entirely through the project with no gaps or no show days. they clean up EVERY DAY and leave the work site as accessible as possible, respecting the owners living space. I would highly recommend SF Design Build. Like the PGA ads on television ... "These Guys are Good!...."”

“Finding a contractor you trust and one that does great quality work seems harder than it should be. Fortunately we were recommended to Erik and Ebcon by a woman who was helping us think through some work we needed done on our home that included lighting, painting, plumbing and creating a new "man cave" in our basement. From our first meeting we were impressed. We have now been working with Ebcon on several projects for the past 2 years and are thoroughly pleased with the work his team has delivered. Erik and his team put a very personal touch and a high degree of care in their work which included weekly face to face meetings to review work and progress and discuss the inevitable changes or unexpected issues that pop up as work begins. Ebcon has repeatedly met and in some cases exceeded our needs and the high touch high communication has been great at identifying issues quickly and collaboratively resolving them. Since my wife and I lead busy lives, Erik has always found a way to pick times even super early in the morning to come by and have our regular updates and discussions. I highly recommend Erik if you are looking for a great team that does top notch work and keeps you very close to what is happening and strives to give you exactly what you want. They are super. Some of the work Erik did in our home is featured on his site today under "Whitaker"”

Having a single team design and build our kitchen saved us a lot of headaches and frustration from miscommunication between the designer and contractor. It was great experience overall.”

“Buildind Lab provided both design and build services for a stand alone au-pair suite at our property. Stephen Shoup was personally involved through the effort. He and his team's commitment to quality, detail and excellence was indeed stellar. They understood us as clients and our needs and specific tastes. They truly listened and reacted with speed. They stuck to their original budget and timeline. Above everything else, their strive for perfection and desire to exceed expectations is indicative about the ethic and pride they bring to their work, day-in and day-out. In short it was an absolute pleasure to work with them and we would highly recommend them.”

“I worked with Inspired builders on my master bathroom remodeling back in 2021. I met David the project manager at the first meeting and he was very professional and honest. The estimate was very reasonable and fair, so after interviewing several companies I hired David and Inspired builders. We started with design, the designer was very thorough helping me choose my tiles and fixtures and took care of the permitting. David was often in my house running the project along with Antony the foreman and the crew. They were very professional and clean making sure my bed cloths are covered and protected. The project turned out exactly as I imagined and I am enjoying my new bathroom every day. I am planning to remodel my second bath next year and I will definitely call David again. Highly recommended!!”

“I was looking for a company to remodel my mom's property in alameda. I heard about this company from a friend and I decided to give it a shot . My mom is 75 years old and not able to communicate so I came to help her. Initially, we wanted to remodel our kitchen but decided to extend our kitchen and dinning room by breaking the wall that divided it. Maor the owner had a lot of layout options to choose from. He is very knowledgeable about design, and offered other possibilities. He also explain the different price between each option . We decided move forward with the build out and started the work on feb 14th. It took him 6 weeks to finish the project. My conclusion: He was almost every day supervise the different crews. Easy to communicate with. He is very pleasant person, he alway find a solution to any request we had. The crew was very professional and pass all inspection the first time . Every day they clean my house and moved their equipment on the side of the house . They didn't work on weekends for our request. He helped us choose all the fixtures from different supplier. Most of the guys speak English and very respectful to both my mom and I. The prices was fair for the quality of the job. The quality of his work is very high and the finish was super. Now we are thinking about doing the 2 bathroom and other area of the house. He will definitely be the contractor I choose . If anyone want to see picture feel free to email me and I will send him the pictures. Thank you very much for making this project a pleasant experience.”

The team at Green Planet Remodeling helped me renovate 2 bathrooms - and remedied a lot of the shoddy work that was lurking behind the wall (thanks to my crappy builder for those surprises). Good guys that were efficient and professional through the whole experience. They even provided me with a 3D Design for both of the bathrooms that another company wanted to charge me for! “Our recent home project included the complete remodeling of the kitchen, 3 bathrooms and wet bar. My husband and I decided on Level up home remodeling following our due diligence process (having interviewed multiple contractor candidates) given the prior reviews, competitive proposal, and positive impressions following our discussions with Issac. Issac estimated 3 months to complete the project beginning in August 2016, and although there were the unknown but expected bumps in the road along the way during the project, was able to complete the job on a timely basis. Both quality of workmanship and timely completion of the job was important to us, and Issac and his team delivered on both counts. Those working on our project were hard working competent individuals, punctual, courteous and easy to engage in conversation. Issac was at our site on a daily basis both overseeing the project and hands on with regards to any task. He and his team provided professional, thoughtful and viable options and resolutions to each situation/issue as they arose. We have used other contractors in the past, but Level up home remodeling outperformed all the predecessors. We are pleased with the results and would not hesitate in bringing back Issac team for other construction projects going forward.”
