We researched other companies but decided on DBS because of their in depth knowledge and professionalism in all facets of plantation shutters. Installation was on time and complete, no glitches or problems. Their product is top notch and we have had no problems since installation. Quality of product is excellent--very high quality, durable and attractive! Installers were top knotch--professional, courteous and excellent workmanship. “I ordered custom exterior window shutters, as well as, interior poly window shutters (approx. 4 in slats in white). The lead time was very long, (about three months) for that reason I gave four stars instead of five but the service was exceptional from the sales man coming in my home to measure - to the installers putting everything up. In fact, the installers were some of the friendliest and most professional workers I've ever had (and I've had many!) The shutters are a bit on the high-end side, but they are beautiful and I would use them again. I am putting a before and then an after pic. The before shutters were 1970's louvered style (very flimsy). The after shutters are wood engineered with gorgeous hardware details and sized in the proportion of the windows as opposed to thin decorative shutters.”

“Carol Batalha has been a delight to work with. Her estimates were absolutely in line with the others I got... but her choices of fabrics and the construction details my husband and I discussed were much the best of what was offered. See brought choices that resolved a specific problem in a way that satisfied even my picky spouse. And that makes me happy. Stay tuned to see an updated window that truly blocks out the lights of the night time automobiles outside the window.”
