“We first decided what work was to be done and a contract was signed that was specific about the work so we both knew what to expect. The work requested was redo 2 bathrooms, replace front windows and back door and repair a shed. They began work when they stated they would and worked steady to finish on time. The workmen were considerate and told me what they were going to work on. I would hire them again without hesitation. I love the final result and pleased with the quality of the work.”

“MBD designed and remodeled TWO bathrooms to our exact liking. We contacted 4 other companies before finding MBD. Remodeling two entire bathrooms and expanding a shower in the master bath is a huge expense and a big decision and there are only great things to say about MBD. They were honest and provided various options with costs for each. The entire construction process was impressive, mainly due to the professionalism and knowledge of our Construction Superintendent, Greg, who visited the worksite constantly to ensure the high quality of work. Each time he visited the site, he met with us to ensure that we were pleased with the work, and to ask if we had any questions. Everybody at MBD has been great, and it is my pleasure to give them our recommendation, and sincere appreciation!”

“Ian had been the main contractor for renovation of our kitchen and two bathrooms over the span of 8 years, and we had so much respect for his attention to detail and professional demeanor as well as that of his staff, that we decided to have Hurst Construction handle the renovation of our present deck and front porch. Because there were structural issues with the original deck which was built in 1984, and brickwork that was needed to install new windows/doors, the project took more time than anticipated. The present home-owners association required clearance for the plans from the architectural committee and this delayed the project as well. Overall, however, the new deck is beautiful, and structurally more sound, the windows are more earth friendly which saves energy, and the new deck and porch more closely connect to the building structure originally built. Ian's construction workers were courteous, approachable, and consistently efficient in their work. We would recommend Hurst Construction for any home renovation, and feel that the result of several months of hard work really paid off.”

“It was time to down size so we sold our 3500 sq ft home and bought a 1900 sq ft home. As you imagine it was hard not only to adjust to the smaller size but also to fit the needs of 3 teenage boys and us into a smaller home and still feel like we had are own space. We called Mike with Legacy Home Improvement and the first thing that I liked about Mike was I felt like he was understanding what I wanted and needed. Second, I didn't feel like he was just "telling me what I wanted to hear" if there was something we couldn't do he told us up front. Third, he was VERY mindful of our budget and was very good at keeping us on track. Mike and hi team added a Master Bath and Master Closet to a finished basement and a shower onto one of the 3/4 baths. Now we have 4 bedroom and 4 baths and everyone has their own space. Quick, CLEAN and extremely freindly! AWESOME job!!!!”
