“Alair Homes Nanaimo is the best! They completed the reno of our original 1980's west coast home almost two years ago. We completely redid the interior - kitchen, flooring, 3 baths, two fireplaces and the laundry room. Dan and Stu were professional and a joy to work with. I always felt they kept our best interests in mind and were very conscientious in managing our budget and time constraints. The entire project came in on time (under six weeks!), and on budget and we could not be happier with the end result. We plan on using them again this spring to update the exterior and our garage... “We were very impressed with Alair Homes when they built our home in late 2014/early 2015. One thing we have found outstanding is the work done under their warranty over one year later. No item is too small for them to fix up so the customer is totally satisfied with the work they did. Things like paint touch ups, nail pops and a cabinet door being a little out of line were fixed quickly. We had a wood beam at the top of our entrance which had twisted and they replaced the center beam and supporting timbers and it looks better than when it was first done. In talking to some other people who have had homes built by some other builders they have certainly not had the same level of service that we've had after the home is built. We only had to send one email to get everything done, where our friends had to harrass the builder for months to get some things fixed. This is something very important which people should check out when they hire a company to build their home.”

When we initially met with Justin, it was clear to us that he was the right person for the job. At the start of the project, he provided us with a detailed budget and schedule for the renovations, and worked throughout the process to stay on budget and on schedule without compromising the quality of the work. Justin retained the various sub-contractors and coordinated their work and this made the process hassle and stress free, as far as we were concerned. He always ensured that the renovation areas were kept clean, which was important since we were still living in the house during the renovations. We are now planning renovations for our garage and we have hired JL Construction once again for the work.”
