“These guys were punctual, polite and had a great work ethic. They did more than one roof and finished them on the weekend. They cleaned up and let me use their magnet roller to pick up nails, which I really appreciated. I don’t think anyone could do that to please me! so it was a smart decision. “I could not ask for a better experience! Brickwood builders are the most professional, knowledgeable, and quality group that we have ever encountered! Debbie and Ed know more about every detail of our remodel than any subcontractor or salesman in each and every area. For example, at our appointment with the cabinet company, Debbie knew as much or more about cabinetry and design possibilities than the cabinet designer. Debbie and Ed are kind people who are a pleasure to be around and have made this HUGE remodel an enjoyable and stress free experience. Also the individuals that are working daily at our home are also friendly, respectful, and hardworking. Several times I have been close to the work site and the guys have always been talking about work or nice, positive things. No one smokes nor have I found one cup or piece of trash from them even though they've been here almost 40 hours this week. We are highly impressed and beyond pleased with the skill and integrity of brickwood builders. They are the best!!!!”

“The whole team is professional, knowledgeable and outstanding customer service. The handle inspection and securing there was no mold, gotta love that. After a toilet malfunction we woke up to a small river in our bathroom. Their team not only did a quote but was impressed with the video used give a full understanding of the remolding process. The prices was reasonable but I am opting for outstanding work over price, after all I have to keep this bathroom forever.”

“Preferred Building did a great job repairing damage done to our house by tenants and preparing it for sale. This involved matching wood, stain and construction methods to the conditions of our unusual home in Chapel Hill. Michael Tyrell is a very bright, organized individual experienced in house renovations and repairs. He is also a very personable young man. In addition to doing everything we asked, he had some great ideas for making the house show better when we sold it. He and his workmen took off their shoes on entering the house and treated it and us with great care. We were very very happy with his work”

“After interviewing several general contractors to do an extensive remodel of our 1950s ranch home designed by architect Sophie Piesse, we selected Larry and Susan from New Dimension Construction. The project began in Nov 2015 and was completed in the Spring of 2016. We tore out walls to make open spaces, completely redid the kitchen and bathroom, upgraded the electrical, plumbing, and insulation, added a new roof, windows, and walls, etc. Throughout the project, we knew what work would be completed each week, what decisions we needed to make, and where we were with the schedule. Susan and Larry were great at communicating regarding different choices and the cost for each. There were no price surprises on this job. The worksite was kept clean and neat which was important as we lived in part of the home during most of the renovation (except for when the HVAC and flooring was installed) using a temporary kitchen. The crew was a pleasure to have around. Larry was extremely knowledgable and brought great subcontractors to the job. As always during construction, we ran into some unexpected issues> Each time New Dimension Construction efficiently and expeditiously helped us find a good solution and move forward. We think the quality of the work is exceptional. There is nothing we would change about the project.”
