“Howard Homes built our home in the summer/fall of 2011. From the first time we met with Dylan and his team, we knew they were the right choice. We wanted someone who would focus on quality and detail and that is exactly what they delivered. Other builders claimed to be "custom" but added that the only limitation was our pocketbook. With Howard Homes, Dylan made it clear from the beginning that "custom" just means you know what you want - and it shouldn't cost more. We sat down and talked about what we really wanted the features of our new home to be - and then they put together some custom options that we tweaked along the way. This was a much better process than picking from a handful of existing floorplans and having to pay for modifications. Once the build started, we were at the site almost every day and the general contractor, Mark, and each and every subcontractor were extremely friendly and informative. As they worked, you could see their attention to detail come through - on occasion I would even see one of them start something over because it wasn't quite right. You could tell they were each craftsmen and took pride in their work. From the custom gable brackets, to the cherry porch ceiling, to the hand-tooled floors they did a fantastic job on some of the key custom elements we wanted. And you've never seen a cleaner worksite on a new build. Amy was great at helping get all our selections made and keeping our change orders in line, and everyone was great at communcating with us at every step. We absolutely love our new home. If we ever have to build or remodel again for any reason, Howard Homes will be the only choice for us.

“Back in the year 2012 our bathroom was in desperate need of some work. I had 3 estimates done. The first 2 I didn't get a good feeling about, when Greg stepped into our house I knew he was the person I wanted to have do our bathroom. He was so down to earth, honest, professional all around great person!! We were having a wedding in June of that same year. I liked the fact Greg had so many ideas on what we could do things I never would have thought of. They started the job in May and had the job done in time for the wedding. My husband and I were both working at the time and I felt VERY, VERY safe having them here working during the day while we were at work. Building Renewal have done several jobs for us we have also referred him to other people who have been happy as well with the work they do!! We will NEVER have anyone else do the work as long as Building Renewal are in business. The bathroom turn out better than I could have imagined you want this company for your next anything!!!!”

“Bill can read my wife's mind--he is a stickler for detail and does impeccable work.
The Schnettler's run a family business and they always do one level better than what you thought it would be done. Bill built our house for us in Minnesota about 25 years ago. You think you're going to get really good quality and when the Schnettlers do it it is great quality!
Even with our landscaping he was able to put up retaining walls coming off of the concrete wall. It was an add on and it looks really good! When building our house he thought "how could we make this more economical--heat wise?" and put in floor heating in the bathroom. He made the house heat efficient in a place like Minnesota where you need it.
Bill has been building homes for 25 years and Joe has been doing it with his dad. I'm very appreciative--i've done some work myself and it's so nice to have good professionals like them around. Their subcontractors that they pick and choose do a really good job. Everything is in line and the walls and plumbing are very high quality workmanship. It looks good.
While building our home Bill and my wife would talk on a daily basis and he would let me wife know what was going on. If my wife wanted to make changes Bill was very sensitive to that because he understands that people have their own tastes and he makes our ideas even better than we expected.
I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.”
