“My wife, Elaine and I want to thank you for the excellent sales and customer service and price that you gave us when purchasing our Fireplace Xtrordinair Gas Fireplace insert with Metropolitan Face Design and Ember-Fyre Log Set. It looks great and works very efficiently. However, we will feel the full impact of it when the heating season starts again and we turn on the gas fireplace insert to generate some warmth and heat. In additional, Elaine and I want to thank you for coming to our home and measuring the fireplace opening to make sure the gas fireplace insert would fit in correctly.
John Templeton, the plumbing contractor, did an excellent job installing the gas fireplace insert. In addition, he coordinated very well the installation of the chimney linings by Steve Briquette. Steve did an excellent job as well. Also, John Templeton coordinated very well the inspection by the Chelmsford Town Plumbing inspector of the piping for the gas fireplace insert. John was a pleasure to deal with and he provided excellent customer service to us by explaining the whole installation process and giving Elaine and I a demonstration at the end of how the gas fireplace insert.
Elaine and I would not hesitate to recommend Chelmsford Fireplace Center and you in particular to our friends, relatives and neighbors if they wanted to purchase a gas fireplace insert. Thanks again.”

The guys -- Tony and Albert -- did a fantastic job -- fast, efficient, and they left the job site clean and tidy.
They were great communicators, too, telling us what was happening and how and when. Plus, Tony's advice from September, when he was here to measure the chimneys, has helped us prevent further chimney leaks during windy wet weather. Back then, he had explained exactly why the shingles just below our chimney were the source of a leak in high winds, and had recommended that we caulk them, which I did!

“South Shore Fireplace is by far the most professional and trustworthy Chimney / Stove service company I have ever delt with.
They were Prompt, neat, kept schedule on time, and very courteous. The Foreman on the job introduced himself when he arrived, shook my hand and has the southern manners of "yes mam" when speaking to me. They listened, answered ALL my questions, and made me feel "safe" regarding how the job was to be done. The Owner of the company was on site to review the plan after the consultation and analyzing He was also at my home at the end of the job. They took photos of the chimney before and after and took the time to sit down and show them to me and explain the problem and solution. The office staff was easy to reach, easy to talk to and understanding of my concerns regarding the issues I was having that needed repair. I even received a call back after hours with an answer to one of my questions.
I could not be Happier with the results of our TWO major projects.
When dealing with an area of your home like a stove or a chimney, repair/sweep, SAFETY is of the utmost of concern. Scott and the team at South Shore Fireplace treat you like their own family when considering your safety with the work to be done.
