“Benjamin completed a fireplace makeover for us and we could not be happier. From the initial contact to the completion of the project he was very professional and easy to work with. He was able to improvise when needed as this involved some creative thinking. All communication is done via email. The actual work is done off site which really minimizes the amount of noise and mess. A high deposit was required because the work is done off site which may deter many. I will say I was a little leery of the deposit, but it worked out without issues. We could not be happier with final results.”

“When my husband and I were ready to make some cosmetic additions to our home, we called Macik Custom Woodworking and Contracting. To begin, a friend highly recommended them and loved all the work that they had done in her home. We connected with MCWC and began our project list. They were extremely professional in the design process, work phase, and project wrap up. MCWC has beautifully completed crown moulding in many rooms, a basement staircase facelift, a kitchen island update, and my favorite, a wall to wall entertainment area. We are so happy with all of the work that Macik Custom Woodworking and Contracting has completed for us. Each project was done with the most care and precision - MCWC's strive for perfection was a perfect match for us. My husband and I will continue to call them to cross off all of our home projects to do list. Also, any moment that I get a chance, I pass on Macik Custom Woodworking and Contracting information to anyone that is looking for a job done. “The quality, design, and willingness to work with as well as understand the needs, wants, and desires from the customer is second to none. We requested many changes, adjustments, concerns, desires both before and during the project. Not only were our desires met, but their own enhancement's and sometimes subtle adjustments, exceeded our expectations. They have performed work in three main rooms of our house and we are already planning the next major improvement to be completed by Johannings. See the before and after pictures with this review.”

“This was one of the best experiences I have had with a company. I asked them to build us a dining room table to our specifications { odd size with particular woods and finish}. After asking me a few questions to understand my wants. He started the table. It was done in remarkable time. He was always available to answer questions during the process and was patient with me. The table turned out to actually be nicer than I thought it would be, the quality and finish are superior to any thing I found in the stores. I recommend them highly.”
