“I hired Robert to replicate an interior door with a couple requested changes, and it turned out great! My house was built in 1928 with very nice multiple level molding single panel doors. I have two cats and wanted to relocate the litter box to the basement, and so I needed to install a pet door, but I knew I would butcher the door if I did it myself. I also wanted the door to be longer as we are taking out the thick carpet and refinishing the hardwood floors, and the bottom gap from the current door would be too large. I called several places for quotes on the project, 4 responded. Two were insanely expensive, at $2k and $4k for the project. Robert's price at $530 was right inline with the 4th quote, but he was more responsive and I liked his website showcasing past work. Robert was easy to work with and quickly understood what I was looking for. He was flexible with evening pickup and delivery times, allowing me to not miss work. When he delivered the door, he quickly made the modifications needed to have the new door fit fit in the old, non-square frame. I'd highly recommend him and have attached some pictures for comparison (old door is painted).”

“I first brought Boxco into the project to help me figure out how I could get more counter space and keep the same small footprint of the kitchen It was a joy working with Gallagher who listened and came up with elegant solutions for my space.Once I could see the possibility of more counter space. it was clear I needed to redo the 40+ year old kitchen which Boxco guided me through from start to finish. Gallagher is efficient, knowledgeable, clear, not afraid to offer suggestions and a pleasure to work with. It was the same with Dave who spent more or less a week installing the cabinets and creating the spaces for the appliances. “Greg rebuilt my front entrance porch when I needed it done right away. The project became greater than expected when the porch footings on the original porch were not to code and the foundational frame was rotted. Neither of these conditions could have been anticipated before demolition, but Greg completed the work efficiently, communicating the added expense along the way, and minimizing the inconvenience of having our primary entrance out of service. A-plus for efficiency and workmanship!”

“Our introduction to Knight Kitchens and Ed Stoehr was quite fortuitous we quite unexpectedly attended a home improvement show at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island in anticipation of a complete renovation of an older home that we had recently purchased. The concept of having a kitchen designed and fabricated in Vermont so far from this home was not appealing but we were so impressed with the show model and Ed's attitude that we figured it was looking into. The results were nothing short of outstanding at every level of our contact with Ed. His design instincts were superb and his attitude and professionalism in working with our contractor from such a distance was remarkable. Our original intentions were just to purchase kitchen cabinetry but we ended up having Knight fabricate built-ins for our den and bathroom vanities after we were unhappy with the cost of local options. In each case, the cabinets were exceptionally well constructed in cherry wood with high quality hardware. The finishes were elegant and we regularly receive the highest of compliments on the beauty of the project. This was all done within some challenging time frames. Not to be missed is the fact that the cost of the cabinets according to our well experienced installer were in his opinion "about half of what it would have cost on Long Island". We could not be happier about our decision.”

They worked with the paint, stains, and glazes to develop the exact style and hues we wanted. We were able to include details like cathedral light glass doors as well as coordinate the great room mantel to the kitchen island corbels and the library bookshelves - so beautiful in the open concept style of our home. The quality and craftsmanship is obvious the minute we walk in the door and throughout the 7 rooms designed by Knight Kitchens. We couldn't be happier and I would highly recommend them!”
