“As a homeowner who has worked with dozens of contractors over the years - I wanted to make sure that Tom - from TJT Woodwork is recognized as being at the absolute top of the list. He is the ideal of what contractors should be. I learned that the reason Tom is so good at managing the project, reducing costs and producing a superior finished product is simple...he does this because he loves the work. After 30 years of building cabinets, shelves, stairs, furniture, built ins and many others he is a master at it - all at very reasonable prices - I'm already thinking about the next project. For us Tom created custom book shelves for a 15' x 9' wall in what is now the library. I'm sure there are pictures up on it. The guy is awesome. Call him and get him on a project. “Layton custom built us a Murphy bed/ Wall unit. It is a work of art, solid cherry wood. We also mounted a 50 inch tv in the upper middle of the unit. This allows us to use the room as a tv room and a guest bedroom (when needed). The way he designed it, no one realizes that the wall unit is also a Murphy bed.Check out the pictures on his web page. He also made a custom kitchen table for our new townhouse, my wife wanted a certain,unique finish. It came out better than she imagined. The base of the Table is a piece of history, it was part of the original Tappan Zee Bridge. Thank you Layton , it was a privilege to work with you. Best Regards,Kevin Ginty”
