The folks at Maple Walnut are providing a “word class” skill set and experience to the Buffalo NY region, top notch from conception to finish. We worked together on multiple components in a clean “contemporary” home where the details make the vision come to life. The kitchen was custom designed to incorporate unique storage solutions: mostly to eliminate unsightly countertop appliances- and areas were designed to make cleaning and a crisp look easy to maintain. The countertops were built with 1/2 and 1/3 waterfalls to match the unique hickory floors. In the teakwood bathroom, it was critical that the various elements were all executed in the same marine grade wood and they executed brilliantly. They use very helpful visualization tools to work with you thru the design development so it’s very clear to what the results will be, and it’s a very informative and fun process!!! “I have initially hired Mike Conde to build and install solid cherry cabinets for our kitchen and five bathrooms for our new lake house. I served as the general contractor for this construction. The cabinets turned out perfect, better than expected. Quality of construction is excellent, gaps are small and uniform, everything closes and opens with no issues. And they look beautiful! Following the cabinets, I have hired him to fabricate and install stair posts, railings and balusters, trim for the entire house, all doors and windows (install only), beam and post coverings, built in cabinets for our great room, coffee tables, and solid walnut dining table and a computer table. Mike was one of the best subcontractors I have hired. Quality of his work is superb, he pays attention to details and only uses high quality materials. He essentially custom built interior for our entire house. That was not the initial plan, but since quality was great and he is easy to deal with, I used him for whatever I could. His prices are quite reasonable, for what you are getting. He is more expensive than big-box stores, but since there are no middle men in the process, your get more for your money than anywhere else. And you can customize every detail and select the exact finish you want.”
