“I’m an Architect with over 30 years of experience and I’ve practiced in large cities where craftsmen are plentiful. The folks at Maple Walnut are providing a “word class” skill set and experience to the Buffalo NY region, top notch from conception to finish. We worked together on multiple components in a clean “contemporary” home where the details make the vision come to life.
The kitchen was custom designed to incorporate unique storage solutions: mostly to eliminate unsightly countertop appliances- and areas were designed to make cleaning and a crisp look easy to maintain. The countertops were built with 1/2 and 1/3 waterfalls to match the unique hickory floors.
In the teakwood bathroom, it was critical that the various elements were all executed in the same marine grade wood and they executed brilliantly.
They use very helpful visualization tools to work with you thru the design development so it’s very clear to what the results will be, and it’s a very informative and fun process!!!
I will be recommending them in full, and can’t wait to see what’s next! Thank you Ben, Jeff, and Kevin!

“I contracted Millwerx to renovate my basement in fall of 2011, and the main floor of my home in spring of 2013. Millwerx exceeded my expectations in every way. Millwerx removed and installed new hardwood throughout, replaced ceramic in bath and laundry room, built a custom fireplace surround that turned out incredible, sanded and stained our staircase, updated my kitchen with lighting and custom design work, and replaced all trim and casings along with painting the home etc... The work was done with incredible attention to detail, and care. We are pleased with our experience and have hired Millwerx to work in our rental property since, and have passed on his information to anyone we know looking to have work done on their homes or business properties. “I have initially hired Mike Conde to build and install solid cherry cabinets for our kitchen and five bathrooms for our new lake house. I served as the general contractor for this construction. The cabinets turned out perfect, better than expected. Quality of construction is excellent, gaps are small and uniform, everything closes and opens with no issues. And they look beautiful! Following the cabinets, I have hired him to fabricate and install stair posts, railings and balusters, trim for the entire house, all doors and windows (install only), beam and post coverings, built in cabinets for our great room, coffee tables, and solid walnut dining table and a computer table.
Mike was one of the best subcontractors I have hired. Quality of his work is superb, he pays attention to details and only uses high quality materials. He essentially custom built interior for our entire house. That was not the initial plan, but since quality was great and he is easy to deal with, I used him for whatever I could.
His prices are quite reasonable, for what you are getting. He is more expensive than big-box stores, but since there are no middle men in the process, your get more for your money than anywhere else. And you can customize every detail and select the exact finish you want.”
