“We had the extreme honor of having Andrew build our kitchen island which is absolutely beautiful and brings a practicality rarely seen in other islands. We shared our vision with him and he not only created our designed look but made recommendations that exceeded our expectations. Our island is the talk of our friends and family who love to come and hang out in our kitchen. What originally was a major concern for maximizing space we now can say we have more space than we could have ever imagine. He also did our hood to bring the french country style to our home. We have worked with many contractors and aside from his amazingly creative and talented woodwork, Andrew is extremely customer-focused and timely in his follow up emails and text messages. “I was looking for some reclaimed wood for a home project. I called several places before I found Atlanta Specialty Woods. They had exactly what I needed for my project. The owner took me around the entire yard to ensure I found the perfect fit for my needs. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly! He asked the right questions to make sure I considered all the possibilities. The staff was very responsive and courteous. “Michael and John created 2 custom wood barn doors for our new home. The doors were beautifully handcrafted with a design and stained in a light wood finish. The doors were crafted to our exact specifications (8ftx4ft) and fit perfically when they arrived!”
