“I interviewed with many builders for the extensive home makeover I had planned. Joe with Blue Water Builders was the only builder who I did not have to track down and hound for my bid back and for any follow ups. He kept me in the loop with every detail throughout the project and always made sure he understood what I wanted. His bid was the best we received and he never came back with the typical well this was unexpected and I'll need and additional $$. The project remained on point and turned out better than expected. When one subcontractor was disrespectful he immediately relieved them of the job and took responsibility. I recommend Blue Water Builders for everything.”

During the past year he covered all the beams in our modern house with cherry, built us a custom living room floor to ceiling cherry cabinet and shelving unit with a granite top and renovated a craftsman style bathroom complete with custom medicine cabinet, vanity and closet. Chris's design ideas created a lot of space and elegance in our small bathroom. He understood what we wanted and made all of our ideas come to life in a way that was better than we could have imagined. He fluidly contracted other professionals to complete the jobs. Chris is a great listener, a prompt responder to emails, calls and texts and completed all his work on time to the highest quality. He cleaned up every day and never left a trace of mess. “We didn't end up hiring John Canty, but we probably should have! Our house is in need of a full gut job. John was very helpful and knowledgeable when he came in to look at our house. We ended up hiring another contractor, who we have since fired, because he worked with a friend a friend of ours. We should have known that you need to mesh with your GC and create good communication lines with them -- we learned quickly that just because a GC worked well with someone you know, it doesn't mean they'll work well with you! John was very upfront and honest about the costs and quality of the job we'd get, and we should have trusted our gut instinct to hire him! It's been 4 months and we're still waiting to get started on our house.”
