“Mike painted most of the interior of my house. He was very professional in all respects from the signing of the contract through completion. He repaired several coats of peeling and cracked plaster resulting from a leak (prior to new roof) from the attic into the living room ceiling. The job is so perfect that there is no longer any evidence of the leak. He helped me pick out colors and suggested a couple of color changes resulting in a more attractive appearance than if I had insisted on my original choice. He even replaced two ceiling light fixtures as well. I highly recommend Mike Garman for your painting needs!”

“We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and our contractor suggested Brakur custom cabinetry. We were able to get custom lighting in the cabinets and also ordered custom cabinets for the laundry room and mud room for a little over the price our contractor would've charged for the kitchen alone (not custom cabinets to fit our space either). Our cabinets are being installed now. They are beautiful! Can't wait until we are able to use them and move back into the kitchen. I almost rated Brakur four and a half stars (if that is possible) because some of the knobs on the doors are not level to each other. We are confident this can be fixed somehow by adjusting the doors and Brakur will be able to fix this without redrilling the knob holes. We are detail oriented people and if this can't be fixed it will drive us crazy every time we use the cabinets (since it is more than one). I am leaving the rating five stars because I am sure Brakur's service will be what we expect and this will be fixed. I would recommend Brakur to others and will most likely purchase cabinets from them for our bathroom remodel.”

“Stephanie's year of experience, talent for design and tasteful eye were evident as soon as she presented her plans for our kitchen remodel. Our home is a 1912 bungalow whose current galley kitchen with four doors- posed numerous challenges to redesign and remodeling. Stephanie listened to our long list of desires for the kitchen and was able to incorporate our wants while also making suggestions we would not have envisioned or thought possible. In the end our new design not only included a new kitchen but a pantry and laundry room, two things our home did not currently have. This space is now incredibly functional all because Stephanie was able to envision the space working even better for us then we did. Her detailed design was invaluable to creating a space that made the most sense for the way we live. “Eric did a great job on remodelling aspects of my kitchen - I asked him to add crown moulding to the tops of the cabinets, and various other pieces of bespoke millwork including some very nicely made legs for my island unit. He also installed some crown moulding in my living room - not your ordinary off the shelf stuff - a bespoke design of stepped moulding. I am quite a detail freak and I was impressed with Eric's attention to detail and willingness to work with me on designing these bespoke elements. Patience and a creative eye of this sort is hard to come by. Price wise he was perfectly fair too I thought, so I'd certainly recommend him.”

“We own a 100+ year-old neo-classical home whose original interior is largely intact. We initially engaged Woodhill Cabinetry to design and manufacture cabinets for our kitchen, which was one of the few rooms in the house that we totally gutted in order to bring it up to modern-day standards. While we wanted a fully-functioning kitchen, we also wanted it to retain the period feel of the rest of the house and, in particular, we wanted to replicate the look of the original cabinets that were being replaced (stained, shaker-style birch cabinets). We were referred to Mary Jean Sweeney, the owner of Woodhill Cabinetry, by our contractor. From our initial consultation with her through the time of installation, we found her to be informed, creative and easy to work with.
