We did our first kitchen with him 16 years ago and loved our kitchen so much we gave him a call when it was time to build a new kitchen. Mark and his staff are responsive, thoughtful and creative. The toughest part of the project for us was tearing down our beloved kitchen that he designed so long ago but the pain was eased by our new wonderful, show stopping kitchen. “Metropolitan Woodworking was recommended to us by a neighbor in our Bethesda condominium. We were taking a fairly small second bedroom and changing it from a bedroom space into an office/guest bedroom. What Dave Scholar immediately understood was the "space" issue. His built-in was exactly the right size to meet our needs and to keep the room as open and spacious as possible. Doug, Dave's craftsman, was wonderful in his workmanship and his courtesy at arriving when scheduled and cleaning up after each appointment. We could not be happier. We now have two neighbors who after our room converted are having their rooms renovated in a similar way.
