We had a very intricate project consisting of a very large kitchen, 7 slabs of quartz and many waterfalls. Emily provided a comprehensive detailed design of the cabinetry from the concept and ideas we discussed with her at our initial meeting. We had no question what the outcome was going to be before the project commenced and Juan was able to tweak small things along the way. We knew he was the one to undertake a project of this scale and we were not disappointed. EVERYONE who walks into our home (from professional designers to friends) asks for the name of our designer and guess what, it was Juan, Emily and the team! His guys always arrived on time, had good communication and were very professional. If we ever had any questions or issues Juan was always available to immediately discuss with us. His advice and knowledge go above and beyond and his work is pure artistry and the best we have ever seen!!! Now Juan is working on our cigar lounge, can't wait to see his magic!”

“We are thrilled with the work done by nd Gothic Furniture. So much so we remodeled one room when our daughter was 3 and did so again as she got older and her needs were different. Our first set of built-ins made it possible for us to have desperately needed storage and closet space, a desk, television closet and a single bed with a trundle underneath for our then 3 year old. As she got older, and we no longer needed room for toys, we remodeled the same room and our bedroom. The design was perfect for a late teenager (lots of storage still) with a larger desk, more floor room and a bed with storage. We also remodeled our own bedroom at that time and were concerned that they would make the room look smaller. We assured the room would look larger and, in fact, it does. Plus we have storage space and a design that looks first class.”

“We hired Rae Packard as our kitchen designer. Her husband, John, is the master cabinet maker and handles the installations of the cabinets and countertops. They are highly experienced professionals and their advice is invaluable. During our meetings, the focus was completely on the project and every detail was worked out from beginning to end. For example, the position and purpose of each cabinet/drawer/appliance/light, etc., is worked out on paper drawings in advance. They have wood/tile/hardware samples on site, which we found helpful as we considered various options. They also have a wealth of contacts (e.g., general contractor, marble places, appliance places, fixtures, etc.) that they have cultivated over time and that they shared with us as needed. All of their referrals were gold. The Packards worked in a timely manner and they responded to all questions and requests. In summary, if we had to do our kitchen all over again, we would call the Packards.”

“Ok, I know, when you see five stars you figure friends and family. Well I'm not. I'm just a very satisfied customer. How satisfied you might ask? Satisfied enough to drag David and his team at NY Woodwork to my next home, which will be a full brownstone restoration project! For my current home which I have just sold. David and his team helped me design, build and install custom cabinetry that helped to identify separate use areas, create massive amounts of storage and to be honest, became part of my apartment's aesthetic. During my open houses, I kept hearing about how beautiful the job was. David had someone on staff that helped me with the drawings, and I was able to visit his shop, review several choices of wood and finish as well as hardware for knobs and pulls. David's team works fast, can accommodate any customization you can dream of (and I did having him score each door to create a shaker look) and it seemed I had my cabinets in no time. The biggest difference is in the installation. Having great cabinets that are installed badly is a waste of money. My apartment did not have one level floor or ceiling, nor one plumb wall - so installing was a major feat - which David and his team passed with flying colors. David stands by his work. I had a small problem with some little paint cracks on a couple of doors, due to the climatization in my apartment. David whisked them off to his shop and had them back to me in a couple of days. I would heartily and readily recommend David and the team at NY Woodwork to anyone. Except don't call him next February, he will be busy with my job!”

I was so impressed with their customer service and product that I hired them to do a gut renovation of my rental. Again they delivered on time and the apt rented in one week. They are always punctual and respectful. The neighbors at my rental tell me I have the nicest contractors. They work with you to give you what you ask for and to keep to schedule. I highly recommend them. Their custom built ins and window treatments are high end.”

“We were looking for something functional and modern. Barry did the initial visit and measurement. Everything went pretty smooth. They designed the kitchen area layout with the finishes that we picked, white lacquer top and dark walnut base. The cabinets came from Italy in about 4 months just as promised. The cabinets were delivered and installed with the installation taking about 5 days. Overall we are very happy with their work and would highly recommend them. If you are looking for high end Italian made cabinets then these guys are what you are looking for. They not only came in about 30% less then the other brands we saw (Verena, Leicht, and Pedini)”
