“Our 1930s center hall New England colonial was sorely in need of a new kitchen. We had lots of ideas, plenty of pictures and no experience in kitchen design. We are so glad we hired Maple Tree Cabinetmakers. Josh and his brother delivered more than we imagined, on time and within budget! We told Josh what we liked and disliked in our kitchen, he listened, really listened, and came up with a design that embodied and greatly improved on our vision. For example, Josh suggested a walnut counter top for the breakfast room hutch, reused the original bin pulls,hinges and glass front doors. The original hutch had six small drawers just under the counter. Josh made 3 wide, much more useful drawers, yet faced them so it looks like 6 small drawers still! Love it! We enclosed the stoop out side the back door, creating a mudroom. Josh built a bead board cubby, with walnut bench, and shelves above. A huge improvement for a family with a dog! Josh also suggested curved brackets at the end of the cabinet runs,; enclosing the refrigerator with panels that match the cabinetry; and he replaced the old built in ironing board with a shallow cupboard for keys, a walnut counter with USB ports for a charging station and two shelves below for old fashioned cook books.We could not be more pleased with our Maple Tree Cabinetmakers Custom Cabinets and would hire them again in a nano-second!”
