“Replacement of main staircase and bannisters. Ecosse Bespoke were the only company able to incorporate our requirements of curves throughout the project, producing a staircase admired by all. Structural challenges were not a deterrent. The project was finished with a minimum of disruption, to a very high standard, within budget and on time. The team were a delight to have in the house.”

Everything was completely tidied up afterwards. Ediwood arrived promptly for all visits and carried out measurements professionally and efficiently. Working only with a few pictures and the ideas in my head they came up with working drawings from which i gave the go ahead. The finished items were delivered and installed on time and far exceeded my expectations, fit and finish were perfect. “Richard Leather is a first rate carpenter, designer and planner, and certainly the most thoughtful. Any job has opportunities, limits to what may be done, the right methods to be used, the best materials, and challenges. There are always implications in a course of action. Richard has the ability to find the best solution to reach a desired outcome and to avoid difficulties. His planning is meticulous and transparent; he is a very good listener, and will deliver the outcome you want and probably do it better than you could believe possible. If you want quality, this is what you will get. If you want cheap and cheerful, go elsewhere. Like all the best people, he is busy. Be prepared to wait a bit for a space in his diary.”

“Excellent work - Chris listened to what I wanted, and came up with designs for a storage cupboard to be fitted in a shallow bay window, and a bathroom under-sink unit and wall shelving. His first suggestions required very little tweaking so it was clear he had paid attention to what I had said. There was excellent communication throughout and although I had originally specified the work to start in spring, Chris was able to bring it forward at my request. Chris and Patrick were a pleasure to have in the flat, diligent in cleaning up after themselves, and happy to be supervised by a nosy cat. I am delighted with the work they have done and intend to use their services again. I would happily recommend Take Root.”
