“Mike painted most of the interior of my house. He was very professional in all respects from the signing of the contract through completion. He repaired several coats of peeling and cracked plaster resulting from a leak (prior to new roof) from the attic into the living room ceiling. The job is so perfect that there is no longer any evidence of the leak. He helped me pick out colors and suggested a couple of color changes resulting in a more attractive appearance than if I had insisted on my original choice. He even replaced two ceiling light fixtures as well. I highly recommend Mike Garman for your painting needs!”

“Chris created some built-in shelves and a desk for us in our third bedroom/office and fixed some door issues we were having. Overall I was very happy with the work completed and I'd recommend Chris for other jobs. He was communicative, courteous, on time, and completed the work when he said it was going to be done. His prices are competitive and he's willing to work with you to figure out a solution to your needs with the constraints you have.”

“Nest Construction Took my plain, boring deck area and transformed it into a fantastic outdoor living space. The owner, Bryan, and his team constructed bush and tree planters, privacy screens, and couches. Bryan stayed within the agreed-upon budget and the work is very high quality. I would recommend Nest Construction for all types of patio/deck work as well as interior carpentry projects.”

“Eric did a great job on remodelling aspects of my kitchen - I asked him to add crown moulding to the tops of the cabinets, and various other pieces of bespoke millwork including some very nicely made legs for my island unit. He also installed some crown moulding in my living room - not your ordinary off the shelf stuff - a bespoke design of stepped moulding. I am quite a detail freak and I was impressed with Eric's attention to detail and willingness to work with me on designing these bespoke elements. Patience and a creative eye of this sort is hard to come by. Price wise he was perfectly fair too I thought, so I'd certainly recommend him.”

“Paul designed and built a large custom dining table and bench for a very large family room/kitchen space. His design ideas were well thought through. He truly listened to our needs and aesthetic wants and the end product complements all other aspects of the furniture and cabinetry in this very large room. The quality of the product is excellent, and the process of working with him was easy and enjoyable. He completed the job on time, per estimate and exceeded our quality expectations. “PT Professional Carpentry is a fabulous team of builders and master carpenters. I have used them on several of my own projects as well as many professional jobs with my interior design firm. They are meticulous and do everything to perfection. The millwork is stunning and affordable as well as durable. Peter and Tom are both wonderful to work with as a client and as a colleague. They are incredibly knowledgable in all aspects of construction and can do any kind of job from a restaurant to a huge home to a small bathroom remodel. Their versatility, organization, and professionalism is impressive. I always look forward to having them on the jobs I'm working on because I can trust the quality to be spectacular and cost to be very reasonable. On top of that, they are very personable and thoughtful. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Chicago area doing construction or custom millwork.”
