“If you've been on Susan's website and seen the magnificent fireplace, ( I'm a little prejudice), it is mine. Our house was built in 1923 and had an old brick fireplace that did nothing for the updated living room. Susan suggested a combination of metallic look tiles and Cherry wood. we sent her the dimensions and she returned a design concept for the fireplace, mantle and suggestions for the hearth, all of which we executed to create the look you see. I have never done any tile work like this so she provided all the advice I needed including specific grout, installation instructions and even final polishing techniques. As we live in NY we bought all the suggested installation products locally and had the tiles shipped. Everything we needed came as promised and even with a few extra pieces, just in case. I would never have undertaken a job like this without her help and confident design expertise. You see a fan shaped piece in the middle of the fireplace. That was created from one of her glass fans...they are beautiful. I purchased one of the glass pieces as well and it sits on a table I made just to display it. Creates a wonderful balance of design in the large room. We get comments on the glass fan all the time and everyone who has stepped into our living room just has to go over and touch the fireplace...it just draws that attention. I would use Susan again given the need and have recommended her to friends. Great experience.”

“Cynthia and her team at Artistic Tile & Stone in San Carlos are fantastic. They have a wonderful eye for design and detail and carry an outstanding selection of field tile, glass tiles, mosaics, etc. What I really like about AT&S is their customer service. They really spend the time with you looking at your plans, making suggestions and helping fit your budget - a real value! They helped me with a kitchen and with a bathroom. I shopped several tile stores in the Bay Area and they are simply the best!”

“We are doing a large remodel that includes 4 baths and kitchen as well as an outside deck aand patio areas. Marta and Patrick have been most helpful and patient in sourcing samples and offering tips as we make selections.Their expertise helps us to not end up with something aesthetically "off" due to something that we might not anticipate since we are not experts by any means. They are familiar with the quirks of each manufacturer. We've selected tile from several lines: Porcelanosa; Ann Sacks; DalTile, Heath Ceramics. They've been able to provide almost every line except the Heath. All the orders are correct and delivered in the stated time. One last visit to Art Tile remains in order to select large format natural stone tile or porcelain for the outside concrete elected deck that is off the house-level wood deck. I am hoping that we can use some of the Bay Area beautiful art tiles in some way for that area or fire pit. Art Tile on Broadway is convenient to us and we've never had parking issues even though we've been there about 4 times.”

“The selection is outstanding, and surpassed only by service. The showroom and warehouse have an amazing stock of samples and the professional staff has books, boards and iPads available for design concepts. These folks really know their stuff and are happy to answer nearly unlimited questions about style, color, durability, function, difference between A marble and B marble, etc. After searching through a myriad of tile and marble shops, I finally found Da Vinci and now use them exclusively for such services.”

“Great Service and very patiently worked with my custom design for kitchen counter tops and very competitive price. The thought the cut and finish would be difficult to accomplish, but the designer worked carefully with me throughout the process. The out come of the kitchen granite quality and look was precisely what I was looking for. It was done on time and on budget and they even helped install a post without extra charges. We get lot of compliments on the kitchen counters.”

“My husband and I bought our granite and flooring from All Natural Stone for our new kitchen. All of the people working there were very professional, knowledable and polite, especially Lucilla. She helped with the design choices for the floor ( travertine) and assisted me in choosing the backsplash. The granite counters are beautiful and the floor is gorgeous. I would highly reccommend this store for anyone looking at granite or tile. They have the largest selection of slabs of any place we looked in the S.F. Bay area.”
