“He redesigned the front elevation of our home. We had a supporting brickwall that was bending under the weight of a large overhang and the overhang needed to be supported in a diferent way. The actual work has not been started yet but we have hired a contractor to do it.”

“As a home builder, I have found that Charles always takes the time to understand the design/feel I am looking for in a particular home. He is always open to my input in design, and always has great ideas where I am struggling to make something come together just right. He has the ability to take my thoughts from chicken scratch and scribbled drawings on notebook paper and turn them into useable construction documents. When working with our custom home clients, Charles always treats them as though they were long lost friends, and works with them until he gets everything how they want. My relationship with Charles began when I was a superintendent for another home builder, and continued once I branched out on my own. As a person, I know of few people with the sincerity and decorum as Charles. Not only would I recommend Charles as an Architect, he is the only architect that I recommend.”

“In September of 2016, my wife and I began working with Clint of basis Design on our forever home. We presented him with a large stack of house designs and ideas. Each picture or article contained something we liked or thought about including in our new home. He somehow sifted through them all and began to develop the plans which would eventually become the house we had long dreamed of living in. Throughout the process, Clint was extremely attentive to our desires and needs. He is a great listener and has an intuitive approach to planning and house design. He is that rare individual who was able to combine his very creative style with our ideas and concepts and produce a plan that begins with what the client desires and ends with a finished project that is both beautiful and practical and satisfying at every level. “Working with Erica was the most enjoyable experience! It felt like she very intentionally took the time to get to know us and our tastes, so that when it came time to bring our ideas to life, she knocked it out of the park at every single step! She was enthusiastic, her designs were fresh and modern, and she was absolutely happy to incorporate our ideas, or invite us to challenge some of hers the whole way, even though we really only had a few minor inputs as she had most everything covered. We were so excited going into every meeting to see what she had come up with. The whole process was organized, professional, and every meeting ended with the next meeting scheduled so we knew exactly what the timeline was. The experience she brought to the table was very impressive and the focus she brought made us feel like we were her most important clients. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
