“Claude designed our beautiful cottage and directed us to our builder Bill Benson. The two of them worked collaboratively to create the retreat we had been hoping for. We first started discussing our project with Claude in the fall of 2007, indicating we wanted to be able to start building in 2009, and our timeline was met perfectly. We have no complaints or concerns whatsoever. Some changes were required during the build, due to unforeseen obstacles during the excavation, and communication between Claude, our builder, and ourselves allowed this to occur seamlessly. We are thrilled with the outcome.”

“SM-Arc designed our home 10+ years ago. It was a very complex project and they were heavily involved in all aspects of the build. From contractor selection, engineering, material selection, budget constraints and interior design elements. They have designed for us a breathtaking home. Since the initial project we have collaborated on several interior elements as well as a large addition. SM-Arc has integrated this addition into our home seamlessly. I have found them to be very experienced, and knowledgable with a keen design aesthetic Thank you Tom and "crew"”

“Design-bult is currently helping us remodel our newly purchased home. Our home was completely gutted and we also remove a major supporting wall to allow for an open concept. The old and out-dated bay window in the front of the house is now a 2 storey bump-out that has floor to ceiling glass. They charge an hourly rate for both design and labour. The entire team is skilled, hard working, young, creative and extremely easy to work with. They use quality materials and keep spaces clean and simple but with smart storage solutions. The use of windows, wood, white and other materials such as concrete, white corian and tile are being used in our project and the combination is going to be dynamite. Our project should be featured on their website in the near future. Can't wait to see the final product.”

“We hired BridgmanCollaborative to find the right resurfacing approach to our 130 year old home (a triplex). Originally of beautiful brick veneer, with touches of cedar shingles, it was eventually covered in plaster to hold the brick together at some point in its history. The brick and plaster were cracked, so it was difficult to find an easy, cost-effective solution to a surface that could not be repaired or recovered. Their team stuck with us as we explored a wide range of options. They were attentive and thoughtful. They paid extremely close attention to detail. They adapted decisions to save costs, but not diminish quality, walking us through design and cost decision-making each time. They worked closely and effectively with the contractors and always followed up on issues promptly. The results are stunning. We love the way they took a historic home into the 21st century. As one person noted, of the hundreds of people who have stopped on the street to look, they transformed it "from eyesore to beauty."”

She is extremely talented, trust worthy and has a great sense of humor. We have become friends over the years and I wouldn't consider doing a project in Ontario without her help.”
