“We met with Matthew Pavelchak in the summer of 2017 to discuss plans for rebuilding a house on Beech Mountain. We wanted the new house to capture the spirit of the traditional Alpine Haus put on our lot in the late 1960's, but with the quality construction, updated features, and more comfortable living that a new home could provide. Matthew really listened to our needs and came up with a beautiful, creative, livable design. Throughout the construction process, he made himself available to talk with our contractor and visit the construction site multiple times to clarify the plans and answer questions. The house was completed in June 2020 and we could not be happier with the final product. Matthew designed a gorgeous, user friendly, comfortable home that we will be in for many years. I whole-heartedly recommend Pavelchak Architecture for your new home.”

“I first met Kimberly in 2001 when we were volunteers on a work day with Habitat for Humanity. Since that time I've worked with her on 10 or more projects. I've come to appreciate Kim more on each project. She draws great plans and does a masterful job of looking after her clients interest. In an age where every builder and architect touts themselves as being "green," few truly understand what it means. Kim is well prepared to help her clients build the most efficient and sustainable home.”

“Working with Mark Lee on our vacation home design was a pleasant experience. Because of his recommendations, our house is not only exactly the style we love, but is also functional. It is a cozy retreat for the two of us when we are here alone, yet it comfortably accommodates our visiting family and friends. Mark's plan maximizes our square footage so the house feels much larger than it actually is. We've had many compliments, beginning with the contractor who said the plans were "builder friendly." As we requested, Mark designed our house with "wow" factors---such as the lofted ceiling, beautiful staircase, fireplace & custom shelves, and huge screened porch---that still "wow" our guests (and us every time we come.) Completely satisfied with Mark's creative talents, knowledge, and attention to detail, we hired him in 2011 to design us a primary home in Alabama. Again, we were please with his work from start to finish.”

“Reedy &Sykes designed a new covered patio for an existing house. The project was complicated by the need to match up roof lines from the original house, a added greenhouse entry and the new gable roof line of the patio cover. The end result was a wonderful patio garden area which allowed for the use of the patio rain or shine.”
