“We're really enjoying working with the Giulietti/Schouten team designing our new beach home. When we were searching for an architect, we looked at portfolios from many firms and were struck by the breadth and creativity of their work. The combination of artistry, creativity, flexibility, practicality, and attention to detail they bring to their work is really impressive, and has resulted in a design much better than we envisioned. It's particularly impressive when the complicated site and extreme environment of our oceanfront setting are taken into account. We're very happy with the project and feel fortunate to have found this great group of people to work with! Follow-on now that the project is finished: Our home turned out beautifully. They were extremely helpful during the construction phase, helping us with the multitude of decisions and working with our builder to assure every detail was as it was envisioned. “I connected with John to help restore our newly-purchased 1967 single-floor ranch cottage in Portland, OR. Even during our first interaction, John had a calm, approachable demeanor, and listen thoroughly to my design ideas. He followed through on listening with strong visualization through 3D renderings that made me feel as if I was standing in my home, before we even began construction. His realistic renderings helped us make some necessary design changes to improve the flow of the layout before investing in construction, which ended up being a massive cost-saving for us. Throughout the schematic design, design development, and construction documents phases, John had fantastic communication and was on time, even early, with his deliverables. We will 1000% utilize spacehouse's services again for our next home design project!”

“If you’re looking for a very personable and enjoyable design process for your next home, look no further. After moving from out of state, we had purchased a view lot in a newly developed gated community and driving through one weekend, we stopped and talked to a neighbor who was working in their yard about their beautiful home and they recommended that we call the designer and gave us the number to Summit Ridge. We had talked to two others designers beforehand but after meeting with all three, there was no question who we wanted to work with and we couldn't be happier. The design of our home not only fits our new northwest lifestyle but its entire design was created around us. Each room was carefully planned out and is a reflection of our lifestyle. Highly recommended.”
