He knows his stuff so we got through Council quickly, which isn't typical of a strawbale development application in the Blue Mountains. The home that we have built together is beautiful, practical and comfortable. Jaime has project managed for us and we have stayed within budget. There has been a lot to handle and throughout the build Jaime has been a great communicator. He has often suggested alternatives that made our home more comfortable, practical, environmentally appropriate or more economical to build and we are so grateful for that. “Ross Young designed our two storey extension - garage below, bedroom ensuite and walk in wardrobe above. I can thoroughly recommend Ross's work. I have an 1920s very basic timber cottage built originally as a kiosk and refreshment place with only minimal residence capacity. We were keen to not overawe or clash with this existing historical if modest little house, nor to impose on the neighbour's sun. Ross's extension is both sympathetic and marries so well with the old building while at the same time it is practical and beautiful with clean, elegant lines. He is very easy to work with and is a very good listener so the result is a very pleasing creation which is also incorporates all the things we needed for living. The extended house sits beautifully in the streetscape and as there is a park across the road we were mindful of not imposing too much on the landscape. Finally, we are in a flame zone area and Ross is very good are negotiating with the council which helped enormously. I am thrilled with the resulting building!”
