“What they did was beyond our expectation.They spent a lot of time on truly understanding our lifestyle and needs, and introduced the “aging-in-place” concept. The scheme looks beautiful, detailed, and innovative.They did a good job on bringing out the potential of our house, which has great views to the lake. The new great room looks spacious and full of natural light. As their concept proposed, it will be vacation at home for us. Yang and Suping are delightful to work with. They are good at communicating their design. Since I’m not familiar with reading drawings, they used 3d models/images to help me understand, even a VR glass to help me visualize the rooms.”

“Bob designed our home. After 10 years I still love it and can't imagine living any where else. He turned our 1960 Tri-level into an open , full of character timeless home. His vision was unbelievable . The roof was taken off and we have an upper deck off our bedroom. We have vaulted ceilings, mahogany alcove bench in bedroom too. I could only load 4 pictures so I did one wall of the kitchen, the stone fireplace in family room open to kitchen, the hallway and sinks in master bathroom. Even though it cost a little over $100,000, the value increased over $200,000. I don't have a McMansion looking house like all others with no hardwood on 2nd floor and no laminate and vinyl cheap stuff.Please forgive the mess and lack of decorating skill,but here are some pictures.”

“Mr. Wermers prepared architecture plans to renovate my existing 1700 s.f. ranch house and to construct a 2000 s.f. addition. The renovations included one bathroom, three bedrooms, kitchen, breakfast room, dining room and living room and to demo the existing one car garage. The additions included a family room, sunroom, two bathrooms, one bedroom, mudroom, two-car garage, laundry room, and a room above the garage (frog). While obtaining a building permit, City staff commented on the detail and thoroughness of the construction plans. Also, Mr. Wermers performed several inspections during construction that resolved several disagreements between the Contractor and the Owner. During the inspections, Mr. Wermers found a few construction faults that saved the Owner thousands of dollars.”

“510 Architects provided the plan and specs for the renovation of our master bath, a guest bath and the transformation of a sitting/sewing room into a spacious closet (for my wife of course). In addition one of their subsidiaries provided the shelving and other items for the closets. I can't say enough superlatives because the project turned out fabulously. Obviously we are very please and would recommend them to the highest degree. We liked the outcome so well that we are using them again for the rebuild of our river house.”

“Andrew Herbert of Architecture AF is a highly talented, professional, creative, reliable and diligent architect. He also is a pleasure to work with. Andrew assisted us on two projects. The first was an apartment in NYC which required an interior reconfiguration and a terrace design. Andrew went above and beyond in obtaining approval for our terrace design from a neighborhood historic district council. His work to demonstrate the attractions of the proposed work, and his documentation of comparable projects within our neighborhood were critical to obtaining the necessary approvals. The design work was very responsive to our ideas and wish list, including several creative solutions to get the most out of the space. Andrew's turnaround and follow ups were always timely.
