“We worked with Stan Monroe to design and build our home on land we had purchased several years earlier. Stan listened as we discussed how we wanted our home to work, and designed a floor plan that met our expectations in the contemporary style that we liked and that took into considerations the features of the lot on which the house was to be built. Interesting design features were incorporated as the design of the house evolved, and the result is a wonderful family home that is beautiful, comfortable and welcoming to guests. Any elements that exceeded budget were our own choices, and deadlines were met throughout the process. Some of my favorite design features are the ceilings, curved walls and the custom glass front door that Stan designed. He insisted that a glass door was the best choice for the front of out house. We did not like the front of the house being wide open to the street. Stan designed a sand-blasted pattern on the glass in the door that gave us privacy, and added a beautiful design element that echoed the other curves in the house. We have been in our home for 16 years and still love the design. The entire process was a pleasure.”

“We did a 4-season addition with porch and mudroom area off the kitchen/ dining areas. We also re-roofed the entire house, did an attic insulation blow-over, and painted walls and refinished hardwood floors throughout the existing living areas. It was a big project spanning two months non-stop. We had interviewed 3 design/build companies before selecting Cowdin, and we couldn't be happier with the result! At every step, Bill ensured our comfort and minimized the disruption to our daily life. Communication and follow-through was excellent. Our wish to collaborate was welcomed, and he shared our collective creative vision via CAD design and rendering tools to help us visualize the project during the planning and decision making stages. To help us participate in the construction phases, he used a web-based project planning tool called BuilderTREND that allowed us to monitor progress and approve change orders online. The project started and ended on-time with excellent coordination among the many contractors involved. Cowdin focuses on build a relationship with us. He blends technology and soft-skills on the client side with top-notch contractors on the execution side. In the end we are as delighted with our experience as we are with the results.”

“J.K. Janiga designed not one but two of the most magnificent homes that anyone would love to live in. He listened to everyones input and drew up two designs that made us speechless. There was no reason to redo any drawing. He heard us the first time around. Jerry was there from beginning to end. Supervised all building of his /our project. He has been punctual on appointments, he has met every deadline thus far and he is within our budget. We didn't know what we were getting in to having done a simple search via the internet but we have been extremely happy with our decision to go with Bailey Built PLLC. We interviewed 4 others and have used an architect in the past with my construction jobs and were pleased with his excitement to get started and the pleasant atmosphere he creates.
