“Currently engaged with Studio Prime in support of a design/build project here in the city of San Luis Obispo. I couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable and professional group to work with, but importantly, they also have a sense of humor (especially John). They are helping my wife and I design (and eventually build) a 3,000 sf custom home on an, um, "interesting" hilly site that is presenting some challenges. However, these guys know their stuff, and are deftly navigating us around those challenges. Strongly recommend these guys!”

“We had no idea how wonderful it could be to have an architect's help until we met Jessica. We felt listened to and like she really took the time to hear an understand our project. When we called Jessica (at the suggestion of our realtor) for help in remodeling the kitchen in the house we were purchasing, we had no idea what a gift she would be! Not only is she excellent with all the design details and measurements and everything else an architect is supposed to do, but she was able to help us with materials and think outside the box to accomplish our goals in creative ways. Jessica also helped us tie in the look and feel of our kitchen/dining room to our front outdoor space and thought of other details we wouldn't have even considered. Jessica was professional and easy to work with, she was gracious and even able to understand/communicate well with both my husband and me and help us figure out what we wanted. We are so thankful we found such a great Architect in SLO!!”

“My husband and I are remodeling both of our bathrooms, and want to open up our kitchen area so it works better with the layout of our house. Marcus has been working with us and he's been fantastic. Even though it is just a remodel, he's given us so many great ideas to tie the whole house together, as well as help us understand what is worth spending money on for the long run, and where we could save. He's making the process really fun and exciting, and I can't wait to live in a house that is finally well designed and perfectly us. Also, he lives is San Luis Obispo, CA and we live in Santa Cruz, which I thought might be a problem when it came down to meeting one on one, but he was very flexible and has been shooting up to meet with us multiple times bringing beautiful sketches of ideas, or examples of materials for us to look at. I hightly recommend him for big or small projects. He's truely a professional.”

They also offered exceptionally talented advice ,which made the whole process of designing our own home manageable and fun! The outcome was everything and more than we had hoped for. And the Isaman design team was there, guiding us every step of the way, from our design dreams to a finished beautiful home! ”

“Andrew delivered exactly what we planned and hoped for. He listened well, added flair and creative solutions where they were needed, and turned our vision for a contemporary Bauhaus take on a mid-century modern classic into reality. His understanding of, and relationship with, local government agencies and builders/contractors was very valuable as well. He 'saw' the vision and used his craft and creativity to make sure the practical issues were covered, while adding creativity where appropriate. From siting the home to optimise local conditions, to thinking outside the box to make sure the existing guest house that we remodelled had integrity with the new build; Andrew delivered. Most importantly, Andrew is a good human without the ego and price tag that often accompanies many metro architects with bigger reputations. If we build another home, or remodel, Andrew will be the first person we call to help with the project.”

“Nina did an amazing job with the design of our kitchen and dining room! She went back and forth with us and our cabinet maker working on the design until it was both functional and up to code. She rearranged the locations of our sink, making it centered to the window, and moved the refrigerator and pantry away from the stove. She also designed an entire display wall for us in the dining space. She made our tiny kitchen/dining area look modern and spacious! I recommend her to anyone looking into remodeling!”

“Very professional and competent architects. Good working relationships with local planning departments which helps with the permit process. They completed over a dozen projects for us with a combined value of over $10mm. Several of our projects are profiled on their website. A site visit to one or more of these completed projects would give you an idea of what they are capable of doing. Would always approach them first when embarking on other real estate developments.”
