We survived 7! public hearings with heavy revision. Jack remained true to my original vision while accommodating the requirements of many other visions of what my house needed to be. His price was fair, his manner engaging and open. My house won an award and i gained a valued friend. He and and his staff are the best architectural firm ever.”

“Be assured that you will be in excellent hands with Stacy at SKM Design. We can not recommend her highly enough! We did not use an architect or designer for our previous 2 renovations and I wish we had known Stacy then. We literally have no regrets with the layout or design choices in our current house. We have a 1920’s traditional colonial and she was excellent at marrying the character of our older home with today’s modern amenities. She leaves no stone unturned, keeps her eyes on the budget, works quickly, is a task master and will come up with a design plan that fits your lifestyle and budget. Stacy will also help you refine or identify your aesthetic if you don’t already have one. For our renovation, she facilitated the bidding process and managed our project every step of the way. She was able to recommend 3 builders for the bidding and a slew of tradespeople. She‘s also a joy to work with and an outstanding human being- you will love having her around.”

She quickly realized our likes and dislikes and was very open to our ideas, suggestions, and working together with us to design our dream home. We had a very challenging lot on a lake and Cheryl worked together with the town, our civil engineer, and our landscaper to make the most of the space we had. If we ever needed to design another home we would definitely use her services again.”

“We have used Julia Metcalf Architecture and Interior Design for two different projects - an office renovation and a large scale home remodel. Both projects had major architectural and interior design elements. Julia was very easy to work with, and we found her communication skills, both with us and with our contractor, to be exceptional. Everything was very clear and concise. She really understood our design aesthetic, and how to work that into both our home and our office. She was respectful and appreciative of our suggestions, and very conscientious of our budget. Julia has great suggestions on where to splurge and where you can save some money in different areas of each project. In our commercial project, she was extremely knowledgable and meticulous about meeting all various ADA and IBC codes.
