“It took us several years to find the right architect - Debra was recommended to us by two different people - by a builder who had worked with her and by a friend who was Debra's client.
Debra was able to design something that was a great home for the family and took advantage of the house's position and view - and she kept within our budget!
She is great at the technical and creative aspects of her profession, but the upsell with Debra is her relationship and communication skills. Our job ran smoothly - not only because of the quality of the workmanship of our builder who she helped us choose - but also because Debra's communication style was considered, open and consultative - she acted as the perfect go-between for us all and issues were resolved quickly and easily. She asked lots of questions about how we lived and wanted to live, and we talked lots about materials, light, getting sun into a south facing living space, being sensitive to the existing building... Liv again did an amazing job and we still love it so much years later! Pretty much everyone that visits the house says it has a lovely calm, light feel to it. And we feel that too.
