After the meeting I was so energized and excited that it took 2 hours to fall asleep (it was way past my bedtime!). Ultimately, we couldn't find a piece of empty property with the location / features we wanted for a price that would allow us to build new with Michael. So we purchased a home with "potential" and are saving up for the chance to do a remodel/rebuild with him on this property. We wouldn't dream of working with anyone else.”

“We worked with Stan Monroe to design and build our home on land we had purchased several years earlier. Stan listened as we discussed how we wanted our home to work, and designed a floor plan that met our expectations in the contemporary style that we liked and that took into considerations the features of the lot on which the house was to be built. Interesting design features were incorporated as the design of the house evolved, and the result is a wonderful family home that is beautiful, comfortable and welcoming to guests. Any elements that exceeded budget were our own choices, and deadlines were met throughout the process. Some of my favorite design features are the ceilings, curved walls and the custom glass front door that Stan designed. He insisted that a glass door was the best choice for the front of out house. We did not like the front of the house being wide open to the street. Stan designed a sand-blasted pattern on the glass in the door that gave us privacy, and added a beautiful design element that echoed the other curves in the house. We have been in our home for 16 years and still love the design. The entire process was a pleasure.”

There were many instances where what we found under the walls was not what was on the original blueprints. Connie was quick to respond to these issues and come up with brilliant, cost effective solutions in a short amount of time. She also has elegant taste and did an outstanding job designing the exterior siding of our home, as well as all the interior trim. “Damian Farrell is architect’s architect. After interviewing over four architects for our mid-century modern remodel, it became clear that ideas do not come quickly to many architects. Most in fact required us to commit to over $30K to get even a faint idea of what they were thinking. Not Damian. He came with a sketchpad and after a 20-minute conversation, he started drawing. It is hard to describe the pleasure of living within a wonderfully designed home. The light, the angles, the view – all of these carefully arranged without being obvious.
