“I recommend Wallis Design Studio. We were out of town clients working with Robert and his staff to redesign/remodel a home in El Dorado County. It is a challenge to be 400 miles from your property during the design process. They are patient, efficient, informative and creative. One staff member even worked during holiday closure to be sure that our plans were submitted timely to the county planning department by a deadline that, if we had missed, could possibly have cost us more in fees. “The principal architects, Kurt and Kristi, are not only extremely talented in architecture and design, but pay strict attention to what it is that the clients wish in their home or commercial project. So often architects are not adaptable but these folks are. They also make a genuine effort to stay within budget though that is so difficult to control with costs bouncing all over the place and clients changing their minds during construction.
