Thomas was tasked with production of the interior custom cabinetry and associated custom woodworking. From our first meeting, Thomas’s communication, experience and broad background gave me confidence that he would understand the complex geometries and be able to deliver the high-end quality needed for this application. “I was referred to Sounddesign Group by a friend and selected them after interviewing 3 architects. After the initial referral, I was attracted to SDG because of the variety of home design styles shown on their website. I didn't want my project to be pigeonholed as a "type". I wanted my design professional to be open-minded and easy to work with, and I definitely found that in Eric Terry. He is one of the most easy-going people I have ever worked with, but at the same time he gets things done. The process was simple and fun, and we got everything we wanted even though some of it required both Eric and our builder to think outside the box. It turned out to be a bit of a complicated project, but you never would have known it from Eric's attitude. His firm took everything in stride. We also utilized Sounddesign's interior design specialist, Kirsten, for some interior help. She was similarly delightful and easy to work with, even within my budget constraints and my desire to do most things on my own. The finished project is beautiful, and we had a great time during the design and build process. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough.”

“We used HKP architects for a total remodel of a mid-century house we purchased. It was important for us to keep the integrity of the original home, but update it to fit our needs and life style. HKP did an excellent job of designing the remodel -- providing structural expertise, incorporating our ideas, presenting options in the design and the reuse of original materials, suggesting new materials and finishes, and helping us visualize the completed project ; and of managing the remodel -- managing the contractor, monitoring the budget and timeline, and providing documentation on all decisions. HKP's experience with ways to make our home more energy efficient was also very important to us. The partner and associate who worked directly on our project were so wonderful to work with - - professional, knowledgeable, imaginative, detailed, and delightful.
