“We came to Brent with some pretty specific ideas but no understanding of how to put it all together to make a house! Brent was patient and guided us through the project and along with his associate James, helped bring our vision to reality. I'm not very good at envisioning a 3-dimensional project such as a house but Brent and James were able to create computer plans where we could remove walls, walk through rooms and alter roofing. He also very expertly guided our project through the historic review process and managed to get approval while we were in the midst of selling our home in PA and weren't really able to participate. His sense of humor and ability to work with our builder and the Historic Resources Commission has resulted in an almost-finished beautiful home!”

“We met with Matthew Pavelchak in the summer of 2017 to discuss plans for rebuilding a house on Beech Mountain. We wanted the new house to capture the spirit of the traditional Alpine Haus put on our lot in the late 1960's, but with the quality construction, updated features, and more comfortable living that a new home could provide. Matthew really listened to our needs and came up with a beautiful, creative, livable design. Throughout the construction process, he made himself available to talk with our contractor and visit the construction site multiple times to clarify the plans and answer questions. The house was completed in June 2020 and we could not be happier with the final product. Matthew designed a gorgeous, user friendly, comfortable home that we will be in for many years. “Alice Dodson designed a house for us located on mountain property in Buncombe County, NC, in 2016. We love the house plan she designed for us and recommend her without reservation! She met every deadline she set for herself, often completing ahead of her self-imposed deadlines. She is very creative and extremely meticulous in her designs. She exceeded our expectations based on work we have seen by other architects in this area. She collaborates skillfully and willingly with other building professionals in the process. “Last year, we hired Mark Sinsky to design our dream home in Asheville, NC, while we are living in Houston, TX. Mark was very thoughtful about our desires and wishes for our home, while also being respectful of the property we had chosen and how to make the best use of all our spectacular views. We got so much more than architectural drawings and specifications. We appreciate all of the creativity, thought, and heart that he put into the design of our home. It's EXACTLY why we wanted him on our team, especially since we were hundreds of miles away from the construction which began last year. Mark made many visits to our home and kept us completely up to date on any issues that needed adjustments and worked closely with our builder. Mark has created a real masterpiece , that we will enjoy throughout our retirement. (I resubmitting this because the project price was incorrect). Houzz only gives the option to show the project is over 100k, but you can see from the pictures, the upscale beautiful homes that Mark specifically creates for each individual home, while staying within any budget restraints requested by his clients. As the homeowners, we appreciated his detailed drawings that allowed us to determine where best to use our funds. It was a very pleasant experience working with Mark, and would definitely highly recommend AND use him again in the future!”
