“Mr Clark was recommended to us by our Builder when we decided that we wanted a large extension built. After meeting with Mr Clark we were happy to employ him as our Architect for our project. He is clearly an experienced Architect and provided us with suggestions and ideas throughout the process of having the plans drawn up. Mr Clark is very approachable and listened very carefully to what we wanted to have included in our extension. He was able to put our thoughts and ideas into the drawings which made us feel part of the process. Any issues with the drawings were very quickly and professionally dealt with by Mr Clark. We were also very grateful to him for overseeing the administration side with the Planning Department and working closely with our Builder and Structural Engineer. He contacted us regularly to give us updates on the drawings and the planning process. We thought that his professional fees were extremely good value and would have no reservation in recommending Mr Clark as an Architect.”

“paterson gordon architecture was recommended to us by friends who were part way through their own project. The plans for that inspired us hire Elaine for our own project. Looking back on the whole experience we just would not have been able to achieve the amazing results we have without Elaine's vision and support. Firstly, with regard to design Elaine did what I guess all very good architects do which is to give you both what you want alongside what you didn't know you wanted (or could achieve) in the first place. We fell in love with the design almost immediately. Secondly, the generation of the specification and tender meant we got the look and feel we wanted but within the budget available. Thirdly, the selection of a contractor was part of the process I wasn't looking forward to but Elaine handled this process very professionally, meeting builders with us and supporting the final decision. Finally, and by no means least, was the project management side of the business. Elaine was on site regularly and dealt with any of the inevitable delays and (thankfully minor) issues with calmness and professionalism, this was greatly appreciated by us and our contractor. I would wholeheartedly recommend paterson gordon architecture to anyone looking for a contemporary, beautiful and practical extension - we could not be happier with the end result.”

“Claudio helped us immensley during our renovation project. We bought a 1940s property and wanted to carry out a full renovation including creating an open plan living area down stairs and extension to the first floor. Claudio helped us from day 1 in helping us create a vision of the open living space we were looking for as well as giving us advice on what we could and couldn't do with the property. He was patient with us when we explained what we wanted and came up with one great design after another. He was there throughout the process for advice, support and helping us through the building process. “After getting quotes and meeting with a number of architects to undertake the planning and design of a single story extension to our property we chose Stephen Allison. I have rated his company 5 stars as we really cannot fault any aspect of the job he has done for us. As this was our first experience of extending a property he was very helpful and guided us through each step to be made. I found Stephen very approachable and pro active, always taking time to explain any points we were unsure of. He also put us in touch with a structural engineer that I would also recommend as highly and he has the same professional approach as Stephen. “We contracted Domestic Architecture to work closely with us on a conceptual design, for a new build dwelling in a rural part of Aberdeenshire. This was to be a challenging project for both ourselves and D.A as the design would have to meet strict planning criteria and a high build specification. We are delighted to report that after much hard work, focused attention to detail and a close collaboration with D.A Architect, we have achieved full planning at first attempt.
