“We have engaged Dolphin to design and build our dream home on Kiawah Island, SC. We are currently half way through construction. So far we are very pleased with the services provided by Dolphin. We worked with Noel over a prolonged design period (our choosing) - she had great patience and constructive input on design for our unusual plot. Dolphin drove the ARB approval process which was ultimately quite painless (we had expected this to be much more difficult). Prior to breaking ground, we started work with Catherine Anne on the endless decisions (everything from kitchen appliances and faucets to hardware and tiling). Catherine Anne made the whole process easy and and kept us on track. Once construction started, the Dolphin team kept us updatd regularly (important as we live in the North East and have only been on site 3-4 times during construction. Overall - so far very happy that we engaged Dolphin - we purposefully chose a design / build company and would highly recommend this experienced team.”

“Damien Busillo of DLB Architecture and Design has been a pleasure to work with. Although my husband and I have built four homes in the past this was our first experience with having a custom home design. He has been a great help in finding ways to convey exactly the design we wanted, working with builders in the bidding process, working to help us find the landscape designer that fits our tastes and working wit h our neighborhood ARB to help us get our design approved. Damien has been very flexible to make changes in order to fit our needs and I know that the end product will be a home that we will be so proud to call our own. It's been a pleasure to work with him!”

Now that it is complete, we get compliments about how awesome and beautiful it is from family/friends and people just walking by. Our first meeting, Darryl just listened...to our needs, our lifestyle and our aspirations for the home. Based on his approach, we were 90% there on the 1st design. Darryl took into consideration our words and added architectural design, how it would fit into the locale, and made it one of a kind. Along the way, we encountered a few necessary changes in the field, and Darryl made suggestions, collaborated directly with our project manager and designer, and in the end stayed within our budget and improved the overall design. “We hired Steve Herlong and his staff to design our first custom home 12 years ago and to renovate our 1950's beach house 6 years ago. In both cases it was a fantastic experience. Steve has such an amazing eye for details, he HEARS what you want and creates a masterpiece with those ideas. His interiors team made our old beach house feel NEW again, but selected colors, cabinetry and fixtures to compliment the style we loved! We could not have created either of these amazing homes without the help of such a talented staff!”
