It's nearly 3 years since work started and we are still as pleased with the results as we were when it was first completed. The resulting plan was a really exciting change for the house with bold creative elements which also integrated the practical solutions that at the time we were desperate for. Throughout the build Jefcoate Anderson provided project management which took away most of the stresses that go hand in hand with altering any home to this extent. “Studio AWA recently designed and project-managed the renovation of our house. The brief was to open up the ground floor to let in more natural light, and to make more efficient use of the living space. Studio AWA spent a significant amount of time at the outset of the project speaking to us to better understand our desired outcome and getting an understanding of our style preferences. This time was invaluable as it allowed Studio AWA to suggest ideas that we had not considered and which had a huge impact on the finished product. This included enlarging and adding additional windows, and inserting large sliding glass doors at the rear of the house.
